Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this K source replacement passenger side mirror. Now this has been designed to fit your 2018 Jeep JK Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited and then your 2015 to 2017 Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. And I also have the original equipment number there for you on your screen. Now on custom fit parts such as this replacement mirror, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer. Just pop in the year, make and model of your vehicle and answer any other questions that it might have for you.
And then our fit guide will confirm if this mirror will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So this again is designed specifically for your Jeep. So it's gonna mount directly to the factory attachment points. So you're not gonna have to worry about any modifications or guesswork. This is gonna fit just like your original mirror, which makes this installation straightforward and it's gonna keep everything looking clean and factory installed.
This is going to restore full mirror functionality as well. So if your Jeep already has the power mirror adjustments, you're gonna be able to control and fine tune the mirror right from inside of your cabin just like you're used to. And if your vehicle also has the heated mirrors, this one does support that feature as well. So the heated glass obviously is gonna help melt frost or reduce fog buildup, which is gonna be a big plus during those cold or damp weather conditions. Another nice feature is the breakaway design.
So if this mirror gets bumped in a tight parking spot or sideswiped, the design is going to fold inward instead of snapping off. That's gonna help prevent damage and things like that. Visually. This is going to match the factory look and it does have this textured finish here and the upper portion here is more glossy and smooth, not textured. So this is going to blend in with that OEM styling.
Again it's black, so if you do want to have a color match, the housing can be painted to match your vehicle. Installation's gonna be pretty DIY friendly. This is gonna bolt again into those factory mounting points and it's gonna plug into your existing wiring harness. Now just keep in mind that the power adjustment and heated glass features will only work if your Jeep already has, if it already came equipped with those features. The passenger side view mirror for my 2002 Kia Sedona mini van arrived in perfect condition a day earlier than expected. I was concerned I could find a mirror for a vehicle 18 years old. The product was as advertised but I was more impressed with the service from etrailer.com. The supplier was a bit slow but the folks at etrailer.com kept me in the loop the entire way. It was very much appreciated as my wife was very anxious about not having the side mirror. The mirror fit and worked on the first try. Just one word of caution, there are no installation instructions with the mirror so you need to be comfortable taking a door panel off and doing the install. Kudos to Megan and the other staff that were so helpful!
Fit perfectly, fast service. My auto body guy was able to install quickly at low cost. overall more than half of it would have cost at the dealership.
My only issue is that I asked for the passenger side view mirror, for my 2012 Subaru Forrester. My vehicle, the side view mirrors also have lights on both, so oncoming drivers can get an additional signal, letting them know which way I am turning. The mirror sent does not have that. So now One mirror has it, and the other side does not. Great
My passenger side truck mirror did not stand a chance after getting too close to a tree while backing up. The replacement mirror from etrailer looks and works as great as the original.

Approximately a 25 minute installation. Great product. Arrived in less than 5 days after ordering. Pretty much a plug and play application. I need to get another push plug, because the ears on one of the inner door mounts broke, while removing it. That stuff happens. Great purchase experience. Highly recommend.
