RV shower valve lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) so you can wash up after a long day at the campsite. Vacuum breaker makes sure that your dirty shower water won't flow backward and contaminate your clean water supply.
Features:
Specs:
The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
To install, use the inlet shanks to drop the new valve and deck plate in place of your existing valve. Then hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the back of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Phoenix Faucets 4 Inch Dual Handle RV Shower Valve. This adds or replaces a shower valve in your RV. It's going to feature the dual acrylic lever handles that gives the unit a really nice look. It's also got the vacuum breaker outlet right here for attaching a hand-held shower. Hand-held showers are not included, so those need to be provided separately if you don't already have one. This unit is designed to prevent water back flow, which is going to help prevent contamination of your fresh water supply. It's made from a durable plastic construction.
The chrome base has that nice finish to it, giving it a really clean, finished look. Again, plastic construction, and the base is going to feature a nice chrome finish. The mounting area is going to require 2 holes for installation. You're going to need 1 hole for each connection point here for the hot and cold water lines. These are going to be separated on center here by about 4 inches. They're going to give us a length measurement of about an inch and a half long.
The outer diameter of each of those connection points is going to be 13/16 of an inch. Inner diameter is a half inch. The shower hose connector right here is going to have an outer diameter of 13/16 of an inch. Taking a look at the dimensions of the base, going this way we're looking at about 2 and 1/8. Overall length of just the base, we're looking at about maybe 6 and 1/8 to 6 and 1/4. Measuring from the back of the base to the outermost point of the handles, pretty close to 3 inches. Pretty simple installation.
It's going to come with the mounting nuts as well as the back mounting plate. The kit is going to include detailed instructions when it comes to the installation. Again, it's going to require 2 mounting holes. Each hole needs to have a diameter of about 1 inch. All that's indicated in here.
Then it's going to need to sit about 45 to 48 inches above the floor line. It shows you how to make your connections, how to get it installed. On this side, it's going to have some helpful information such as operating instructions, cleaning tips, helpful hints, excuse me, helpful hints, and then just some cautionary items. It's also going to feature a parts list right there on the back page of the included instructions. That's going to do it for today's look at the Phoenix Faucets 4 Inch Dual Handle RV Shower Valve.
Great.
