Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Furrion die-cast grate for your range cooktop in your RV. This is going to be a quick and easy way to upgrade the look and the functionality of your RV's kitchen. So this isn't obviously something you would do while camping but just to kind of give you an idea, I'm going to just lift this up and you can see pots definitely sliding pretty easily on this end. When you have hot water or anything in here that you're cooking, you don't want that sliding around and potentially causing a mess or getting hurt from it.
Now doing the same test on our new die-cast here, you can see it's actually holding onto it. It's got quite a bit of grip. In fact, I can continue to lift this and it's still holding that pot in place. So as you can see quite a bit higher, so it does a great job of making sure that they stay in place. And it actually has a little bit of grip there just to kind of give it that friction.
And that's really what you want when you have something that's hot on the stove. Now you can see this kitchen has actually been updated and it really has a nice modern kind of farmhouse look to it, but that kind of grate just looks pretty basic. This gives it a really nice homey feel. It really makes it look a little more upscale on our stove top here. And also you get that added benefit of the pots actually staying in place.
Now, this is going to be a direct replacement for your 3-burner Furrion oven ranges but you can actually put this on a bunch of different ones. In fact, we have an Atwood here that it fits onto. And this is a really popular upgrade for a lot of you Airstream owners that have the dometic. It's they have a very similar wire style as we had on here previous. And a lot of people we're having the same issue with their pots and pans moving around, this just drops into place.
It's quick and easy. It makes it look good. And the functionality is absolutely there. So you can see it's a two piece design here. This front burner is going to be a little bit larger. In fact, you can see I stack it here. It's got about an inch difference. So let's get some width measurements first as these are going to be the same. This is coming in right at about 19 inches, our front burner here. This grate is eight and a quarter. And our back one here is right at seven. So that's going to total for 15 and a quarter overall on your length there. Now I am going to show you here it does have this four pin design per burner and that's going to be that direct replacement for the Furrion. And some of your other stoves with that wire rack is going to have a rubber grommet here in each corner. So you may say, well, it's not putting, it's not plugging into there. How do I know that it's going to stay in place Well, once these are in place I'm actually putting a decent amount of pressure pulling it back towards me. It's not going to fall off, it stays in place. Now, obviously, if you lift it up, it will but just having pressure alone and the gravity holding it there, it's not going to come loose. So you can tell that it looks great and whenever you're done cooking and it's cooled down our neighbor here actually has a wood block here to put as a cover. And that looks great as well. And it's also definitely not sliding off. And that was a look at the Furrion die-cast range grates for your oven cooktop..

These fit perfectly and are a nice upgrade from the cheap wire grate that the mfg. put in a new travel trailer. Etrailer did a good job of keeping me updated on order status and shipping info.

I ordered these grates to upgrade from the wire burner racks on a Dometic range in my 2023 Airstream Globetrotter. One grate was broken in shipment. I called etrailer and they had a replacement shipped and an RGA with shipping label sent out in less than 24 hours. Great job etrailer in fixing this problem in such a timely fashion.
The grates were a little snug so I ground the ends down slightly so they can be slid in (on a front to back tilt) so the screws that attach the range to the counter don’t have to be removed. I used 1/4” panel plugs to fill in the holes where the old wire racks were attached. The openings in the grates do not align perfectly with the burners but I don’t think that will be a problem.

Truly game changing upgrade in my 2020 Airstream Classic! The grate fits perfectly on my dometic range top no modifications needed, just slides right in and I am still able to use class cover. Excellent clearance.

Excellent, seamless replacement to the cheap Furrion 3-burner cooktop grate on our 2023 Airstream Pottery Barn trailer. Both grates fit right in, after making sure that the "legs" aligned with the holes. Also, the grates did not interfere with the closed glass cover. Grate openings over burners dead center. Pot & pan stability greatly increased. (See photos)

This is much better quality than the original grate in our FC Airstream. Friends have told me it keeps pans more secure—can’t wait to try it out myself! Perfect fit for our Furion cooktop.

Purchased this for my 2022 Airstream Globetrotter. The stove was made by Dometic and these replaced the small holders that covered the gas burner. The order came In quickly but one grill was damaged. Called and it was replaced Without any issues.

Love it! FIt is snug on Dometic 3 burner range but the glass range cover still closes perfectly! Minor, minor issue is that the centers of the grate are not exactly over the centers of the burners but I’m being too picky here. Great addition to our Airstream “kitchen”.

etrailer’s Furrion range grate fits the Dometic brand range that came with our 2016 Airstream Classic. The fit was so good that I needed to temporarily remove one screw to slide the front half of the new grate in. Then I put the screw back assuring a secure fit. Finally, there turned out to be a open screw hole at the front of the grate that upon inserting a screw (I supplied), allowed me to make sure the grate wouldn’t move. Perfect! I highly recommend this much, much needed improvement to the Dometic range that comes standard with the Airstream Classic! Btw, the glass top closes as if made for the Furrion grate.

I am thrilled with these to replace the weird grate that came with my 2023 Airstream International Furrion Stove. That grate had a grate with the cross members so far apart that my various pans could actually tip into the gaps in between. I thought that was unsafe, or at least unpleasant.
These fit exactly right, provide good coverage and look far better. Glad I bought this.

I really like the cast iron grates. I wish I would have ordered them sooner. After I installed the grates I went to the hardware store and bought 12 rivets to fill the holes from the original mounts. Worked great.

I love my new grates! I never liked the original set up because besides looking cheap they were not very functional, pans would easily become unstable on the little burner. Now it’s as if I have more counter space and don’t have to worry about pan being wobbly or uneven. Thank you!

The cooktop is the right size for the Airstream range. Easy to install, it provides a greater surface, which increases stability for pots and pans.

We ordered this for our Dometic stovetop on our 2020 Airstream Globetrotter and it was a near perfect fit. This makes the cooking surface usable and more appealing in appearance!
The first set of grills had a broken foot damaged during shipping (not etrailer’s fault) etrailer fixed the issue immediately got us our parts in time to enjoy our summer trip!!

Would be excellent, except one of the eight "leg" location was off by about 3/8 of an inch. Not a big deal I will just drill an extra little hole. But fits perfect otherwise! The service from E-trailer was very fast. Thank you.

This grate fits perfectly in our HQ19 and it makes stove top cooking so much easier! The only thing higher quality than this grate was the customer service from etrailer. They were absolutely fantastic, incredibly helpful and accommodating.

This was a huge upgrade for our Dometic CU-434 range top. The little wire grates now live in the trash bin. Why you would not put a full size grate on doesn't make sense. Your pots and pans had minimal support but with this Furrion full coverage grate it is not an issue and it fit perfectly, not mods needed and the flush cover closes all the way. Who ever discovered this fix for the CU-434, Thank you!!

My Airstream came with a Dometic range oven with igniters, excellent controls and three small wire grills. Pots had to be right over the fire.
The Furrion Grate provides a flat cooking surface and provides for better pot management. It fits tight under the mounting screws of the installed range. The split grate allows one to slide it between the screws. It fits snug enough to stay in place. It also fits under the glasses cover too. It is relatively light weight. It was/is a good purchase.

I am very pleased with these grates.I did not buy these for a furrion stove.k I have an Atwood dometic stove. I used the grates from another friend to measure to make sure they would fit and serve as my replacement for the wire that came with the stove. The first picture is the wire top, then there is these iron grates, very pleased with these. the wire top allowed my pans to slip and slide everywhere. These furrion grates are snugger on the stove and lay flatter. This cookware does not slide everywhere.

I don't know why Airstream doesn't make this a standard feature, but since they don't, many thanks to etrailer.com for making this die-cast grate available. It's just like a custom fit. No more worries about hot pots and liquid tipping off the stove with the rickety grates on the cooktop. These die-cast grates fit perfectly...just like at home. Buy this product for your Airstream.
