Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our Thomas Payne RV Jackknife Sofa in the pull down 72 inch wide smoke color. Also did wanna start off by showing you from the top down a little bit better on this texture and everything here. Very nice, soft. The nice upholstery here is gonna let water and stuff bead off if you accidentally spill a drink or something of that nature.

It is a very nice low maintenance material and it's gonna give you lots of comfort for years and years to come. As you can see, very nice depth here, about as deep as my hand. Then you got a nice back rest and everything. So what's neat about this is it's gonna obviously fold down into a sleeping surface, thus the jackknife name. Now again, this would normally be bolted down on your frame box, whatever, and when it's folded down like that, you would be able to then lift the base and kind of fold everything down together.

I have to manipulate it differently just because we're in the studio, so bear with me here and then just like that, it's gonna fold down flat, give you a nice sleeping surface. So from the head to the side here, from the front to the back here laying down, I got roughly 40 and three-quarter inches wide. Again, 72 inches overall on a length. And then whenever it's back in the upright position on a height from the top here to the bottom of the bracket, I got roughly 22 inches. Keep in mind, this padding can compress, so I try my best to get a rough estimate, rough dimension for you, the front to where the upright starts.

So where your rear end would sit, you got roughly 21 inches of depth here. And whenever it's upright from the wall to the front is roughly 28 inches. Now keep in mind you have a little bit of play here, depending on, you know, once you get these brackets installed, it's gonna be solid obviously as far as that depth. So just keep in mind I have a little bit of play in here measuring that. So, again, those are rough dimensions.

Hopefully they'll help. Coming from the side, I wanna show you a little better view of that bracket. So you're gonna get two of these brackets. One left, one right hand. There's gonna be two bolts in the base, two bolts in the back, same with the opposite side. It's gonna be pre-installed. As far as the bolts sticking out, you're just gonna have the eight nuts and the two sides to install. So pretty simple installation. It shouldn't be too hard. As far as installing it, this is roughly gonna be a replacement. You will need to have some kind of a structure, some kind of boxing or something of that nature in place. So just like the images on the screen, top left one there, you can see that neighbor customer installed and built their own box with some drawers in the bottom. Looks like a stereo and some speakers there as well. And on the bottom right, they replaced one. As you can see that bottom kick plate in the slide out is a different color, but they installed it right on top of the base where their previous one went. So it's totally up to you as far as, you know, the measurements, what fits for your specific area and those kind of things. But you will need some kind of box support for this to bolt down into. Now there's no hardware to screw this down into place, more likely than not, again, you're replacing one, so just reuse the old hardware or it's gonna be probably some wood screws and some washers, those kind of things.
