Features to Know About

Space-Saving Pushback Recliner for Campers and RVs

Space-saving recliner tucks into small spaces

This will be the chair you drop into while your coffee's brewing or the grill's heating up. You don't need to pull a handle or plug anything in - just lean back to stretch out, then sit forward when you're ready to move again. This chair works in smaller RVs and trailers where space matters, fitting neatly against the wall while still giving you room to recline. The support keeps you from sinking in too far, so when your coffee's ready and your grill's hot enough to throw the burgers on, it won't be a challenge to get up.

Leather-Like PolyHyde Upholstery

This chair has a soft, matte feel with a refined, leather-like finish. It's also low maintenance, so you don't have to worry about messing it up if you spill a drink, drop some food, or have a pet that enjoys naps there; it wipes clean with a soft cloth. The darker tone pairs well with wood cabinets and darker flooring. The foam in the seat, back, arms, and footrest keeps its shape, too; you can sit for a bit, get up, and it doesn't leave that sunken spot behind. Plus, it fits through a 26" door and goes together in minutes so you can relax and enjoy your space, though your dog or cat may claim it before you do.

Video Transcript for Review of Thomas Payne RV Couches and Chairs - Pushback RV Recliner Footrest McCoy - TP76AR

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Thomas Payne pushback RV recliner with footrest. Now, if you're looking to make the inside of your RV feel a little bit more like home, this pushback RV recliner is gonna be a great upgrade for you to consider. Now, this is specifically designed for your RVs, which means it's not gonna be as bulky or heavy as some regular household furniture. And this is still gonna give you that same cozy feel and relaxed feel that you would expect from a nice living room recliner.

Giving you a little bit of a more closeup view. People typically buy a chair like this for a few big reasons. It's comfortable, it's durable, it's made for RVs, and it's a simple way to upgrade from the basic seating that often comes standard in campers and trailers. Plus, this does feature an easy-to-wipe vinyl and a really nice stitching here that's going to give it it's not only gonna be practicable, but it's gonna be really good looking too. It's gonna give it a really nice look inside of the living space in your RV or camper.

Now, as you no doubt already saw, the recline mechanism is manual. There's no pull cords or levers or anything like that, so you just simply push back like that and you're good to go. So it's a very smooth operation. You're not gonna be struggling to get the footrest out, and this is, well, another nice thing is you're not gonna need to plug this in, no wiring or anything like that. And this particular model comes in what Thomas Payne calls a McCoy color.

And the best way that I can describe it is like a really dark brown color. To me it's almost gray in certain lightings, but it's specifically described as like a medium to warm brown tone. So just to kind of give you an idea, and I know sometimes over the camera, the color doesn't really translate well from camera to screen, so hopefully I explained it to you a little bit better to where you know what to expect. This is covered in PolyHyde vinyl, which is soft to the touch, but it does feel like it's going to be tough. It definitely gonna be tough enough to handle life on the move.

I think it's gonna be very easy to clean, because it's a vinyl surface. So I think spills and things like that are gonna be very easy to wipe up, and maintain the cleanliness of the fabric itself. It's gonna resist cracking, so it's built to last. Inside, you have a supportive high-density foam for real comfort. So this is gonna be perfect to kick back and relax in. And this has more of a kind of a sinking feeling, so you're gonna feel very comfortable in this, but it's not hard to get up out of either, so very comfortable chair overall. Let me give you some dimensions. So looking at the height first, simply from top to bottom when it's not reclined, right about 39 inches tall. The overall length, again, when this is not reclined, about 37 and a half inches long. And then the overall width from end of arm to end of arm is gonna be right at about 27 and a half inches. When you have this fully reclined from the top to the bottom of the footrest, right at about 63 inches. And then the sitting surface is going to be about 22 inches long and 21 inches wide. And we do have those measurements listed for you on this product page. I did wanna point out, hopefully you can see that there, the Thomas Payne logo, this is called a shoe protector. And so that's there just to protect that material from your shoes if you happen to keep them on. But if you wanna remove that, you can remove that as well. But you can keep that on to protect the footrest there if you would like. And this is gonna be pretty easy to move around as well. It weighs about 70 pounds or so, so it's not gonna be too heavy. And minimal assembly is required. You're basically going to slide the back into place. And then these, what I call the wings here, they're gonna slide into place as well, and then you'll put the feet on at the bottom. You'll just screw them in, and you'll be good to go. Well, if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or any of the other things that we carry here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out, 'cause ultimately, we do wanna be sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
