Today, we're going to be taking a look at the three inch Valterra RV waste valve cap. It's available in clear with part number T1020CLRVP, and in black with part number T1020. This cap is a great replacement for your lost or damaged waste valve cap. It's gonna fit all standard black waste valve systems. It features a santoprene seal for a leak-proof connection. It features an attached rubber leash, so we don't lose it, and the bayonet fittings make it quick and easy to attach. Now that we've gone over some features, we'll go ahead and show ahead and show you how to get it installed.

First, we'll take the rubber leash and we're going to fit it over the attached pin here. Once it's on, then we can put on our cap. We'll line it up and then twist it and lock it in place. That's gonna complete our look at the Valterra RV waste valve cap.

This is a sturdy product. The lid fits well, makes a good seal, and does not come loose when traveling. I use this for a diesel heater port on an offroad camper.

Shipping was fast and efficient! I was heartily impressed by how the packer placed the heavy items at the bottom and secured a lighter box inside the main box to prevent the items from shifting during transit. Everything arrived just fine. I especially appreciated the handles at the top of the box to move it around. I needed these as a replacement for broken caps. These will work exactly as intended.

I went to the big RV store, you know the one, to get my broken dump pipe fixed. They said they had no parts that would fit and they would just go to the hardware store for parts and build it from scratch.

I decided to search the web and found exactly what I needed at eTrailer.

I thought the replacement part T81 would need some modification to fit but it didn't. Greg was very helpful and got the order out that same day. Another project done.

Here's some photos. You can see that I used the existing fittings on the RV pipes and just bolted on the new waste valves and elbow. Took about an hour.

Rating reflects etrailers stellar service and Valterra's product. Tabs kept breaking on my original one. Obviously it would leak so I ordered a new one and several backups for the price most places wanted for one. Hope the tabs on the new ones last longer but in any event, now I have extras. Thanks etrailer. I've never been disappointed with your customer service and prompt shipping.

Although it took a little longer to arrive because I ordered it around Christmas time the gray black water cap came in the mail better than the original the original we had 2 tabs to hold it on the new one has 4 tabs much better design- outstanding and thank you !!!

I think your website is pretty easy to order from except the only listing for Dutchmen campers comes up Dutchmen RV. I haven't used the items I ordered yet except to put the spare tire cover on. It fits great.

Replacing A Double Waste Valve With A Shorter Model To Gain Clearance
The RV Sewer Elbow # T1039 is designed to connect to two 3" waste lines so you would need a different sewer elbow, like part # T1036 to connector to both waste lines in your current setup. It looks to me like the hub at the bottom of your elbow has a bayonet fitting glued into it increasing the overall length. Recommended Replacement For A LaSalle Bristol V93B1 RV Sewer Fitting
Thank you for the pictures of your LaSalle Bristol V93B1, it made it a lot easier to find the correct replacement to get your RV's sewer system back in working order. The V93B1 appears to just be the actual drain pipe with the gray dumping into the black line and doesn't include any valves. You'll need the Valterra RV Sewer Heel Inlet # T1030. No, I am sorry there is not. You can try using a glove or a dry towel to get some better leverage, but I don't recommend using any tools to open the Valterra RV Waste Valve Cap item # T1020 as it is made of plastic.

Can the Ends of the Double RV Waste Valves # T80 be Removed
You could remove the ends of the Double RV Waste Valves # T80 but instead of purchasing this part I recommend using the RV Sewer Elbow # T1036 which is what I believe you are trying to use. If you are needing to replace any of the valves we have those as parts # T1001VPM and # T1003VPM as well as the cap as part # T1020 but if you need to replace that much it is much more cost effective to go with the whole unit that you referenced.
