Replacing a cracked or discolored skylight garnish means you need a proper fit without guesswork. This neo-angle inner garnish fits matching 20" x 8" corner cutouts and lets in natural light, giving your ceiling a finished look.
Finding a replacement that lines up with a neo-angle cutout can stall a repair, especially when exact specs are unclear. This garnish is built for a 20" x 8" neo-angle cutout with a 22-1/2" x 10" flange, so it aligns with this specific opening style and provides full interior coverage. You can focus on matching the shape and size instead of chasing exact model specs.
After removing a skylight, exposed foam and wood around the opening can leave the interior looking unfinished. This garnish installs on the inside to cover those rough edges and sits flush against the ceiling. The white sidewalls help conceal those edges, while the clear top still allows light through. The result is a clean, finished look without blocking natural light.
Interior trim needs enough depth to work with thicker roof or ceiling construction, especially in areas like showers. With an approximate 8" bubble height, this garnish provides the added depth needed for thicker roofs while also creating more headroom inside the skylight. You get proper clearance along with extra vertical space where it matters most.
Fully clear garnishes can highlight unfinished areas around the cutout, while fully white ones reduce incoming light. This design uses a clear top to allow direct light in, paired with white sides that help hide exposed foam and wood. You get a brighter interior without drawing attention to rough edges around the opening.
Missing hardware during installation can slow things down if you're not prepared. This garnish installs using 1" screws, which are not included, and some people add butyl tape (sold separately) inside the flange. That tape can help block water from getting inside, while others skip it so any skylight leak shows up right away instead of being hidden. Having your materials ready and knowing how you want to seal it avoids delays once you start.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our specialty recreation inner garnish for your RV skylights that use a 20 by eight inch cutout. Now folks, this is considered a neo angle cutout and it's a clear option, so you're gonna use a 20 by eight inch cutout for this. It is sized, however, with a 24 inch by 11 inch flange, so 24 inches this way, 11 inches up here on that area. It is a rigid design.
There's no warping or lifting that's gonna happen from some exposure. You know, for about cracking discoloring, the rigid design stays put, no warping, no lifting in between. As you can see, I can push this down and it pops right back out. How cool is that Right The bubble height is, we're calling it from the bottom to the top here is roughly six inches. Give or take a little bit.
Now you will need some small screws to install this. Those are not included. You can purchase them separately with a tube of installation material or being that this is an inner garnish, you won't need any of that sealant. So you can probably just get the screws separately or locally. It's totally up to you.
Folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look together at this clear neo angle, specialty recreation, inner garnish. I'm Steven. Have a good one.
