Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the MEC 24 inch propane hose. If you need a flexible connection between your low pressure propane regulator and the appliance, this gives you 2 feet, 24 inches of hose to make that connection while giving you some freedom to route around other components. So you have a lot of flexibility here. Zooming in, you can see you've got two 3/8 inch female flare swivels and these connect with compatible 3/8 inch male flare fittings.
And swivel means you can just simply put your wrench here and tighten it and on the other end and tighten it. You're not twisting the actual hose. Now with flare fittings connections, you don't need pipe dope, you don't need pipe tape, but you do need to always check for gas leaks. So I highly recommend you pick up that gas leak detection fluid, item number MEC78TR, sold separately, and check all your fittings anytime you're doing propane connections. Now again, we talked about this being 24 inches long.
This is also a flexible thermoplastic construction. It's got fully brass, crimped brass ferals here on the end. Brass as we know does not create sparks. So that's why they use brass. It's a safety thing.
And again, this is UL and CGA approved for compatible propane applications and it has a working pressure rating of up to 350 PSI. Folks, that's going to wrap up our look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
