Additional parts you may need:
Pair this rail kit with a tray trim kit (sold separately) and a carpet-covered plywood bottom (not included) to create a complete slide-out tray for the cargo compartment in your RV or camper. This is perfect for you if you're a DIY'er or if you have a uniquely shaped compartment that wouldn't fit a pre-made tray. You can slide the rails out so you can easily grab camping gear without needing to crawl into your cluttered or cramped compartment.
Determining Which Rail Kit You Need
To figure out which rail kit you need, measure the overall inside length of your cargo compartment. The measurement you get is the maximum length the rail kit should be, though you may need to go with slightly smaller rails to account for any potential clearance issues. For example, for this 42" rail kit, your cargo compartment shouldn't be shorter than 42" long. If your cargo compartment is longer, please reference the table below.
| Length of Cargo Compartment | Rail Kit You Need |
|---|---|
| 42" | LC370782 (42") |
| 48" | LC370783 (48") |
| 54" | LC370785 (54") |
| 60" | LC370787 (60") |
| 80" | LC370761 (80") |
| 90" | LC370762 (90") |
Determining Which Tray Trim Kit You Need:
The trim kit needed to complete your SuperSlide II is sold separately. To determine which trim kit you need, measure the width of your cargo compartment opening, and then subtract 4. This ensures that the tray would have the proper clearance as it slides in and out.
| Width of Cargo Compartment | Trim Kit You Need |
|---|---|
| 27" | LC370674 (23") |
| 28" | LC370676 (24") |
| 31" | LC370678 (27") |
| 34" | LC370680 (30") |
| 36" | LC370682 (32") |
| 37" | LC370684 (33") |
| 40" | LC370688 (36") |
| 41" | LC370690 (37") |
| 43" | LC370692 (39") |
| 48" | LC370755 (44") |
| 52" | LC370757 (48") |
| 55" | LC370759 (51") |

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this rail kit for the Kwikee SuperSlide II RV Storage Slide Out Tray assembly. Now these rails are going to pair with a tray trim kit, which is sold separately to form a slide out tray for your RV or camper's cargo compartment to give you the ability to store camping and hiking gear, your tools, your power cords, and a whole lot more. This does require carpet covered plywood, which again is not included with this kit for the bottom. And this is going to fit RV cargo compartments that are at least 42 inches long.
And the tray weight capacity, when this is fully assembled, and installed is going to be 800 pounds. The sliding design is going to eliminate the need for you to crawl into a dirty or cramped compartment, and the spring loaded latches lock the rails in the stowed position to prevent it from sliding out while you're going down the road. Now as you can see, I have this set up somewhat precariously on blocks just to give you an idea of what this is going to look like when you have the rails put together. And I don't have this bolted down or anything, so of course it's going to be a whole lot more stable when you actually have this installed. But I just wanted to give you a demonstration with this rail set up here just to show you the sliding operation.
So as you can see, this is going to slide right out. And of course this other one's going to follow along with it when you have the plywood at the bottom. It's gonna slide right out, and then when you bring it back into the stowed position, it's going to lock into place so it won't accidentally slide out again while you're going down the road. So this is made here in the USA. It have a durable steel construction with a rust-resistant finish.
And this is going to be a relatively easy bolt-on installation into your cargo compartment. The these preassembled rail assemblies with the instructions that you see here are included, however, the wood screws, and the five sixteenths inch hardware are not included. So that would have to be something that you would have to pick up separately. Now, to determine which rail kits you need, you simply measure the overall inside length of your cargo compartment. And whatever measurement you get is the maximum length of the rail kit that you'll need.
So for example, for this 42 inch rail kit, your cargo compartment shouldn't measure longer than 42 inches. Depending on your RV or camper setup, you might need to go with a rail kit that is slightly smaller than your cargo compartment to a account for any potential clearance issues. The trim kit needed to complete your SuperSlide II is sold separately, as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together. So to determine which trim kit you need. Measure the width of your cargo compartment opening and then subtract four inches. So for example, if your cargo compartment measures 55 inches wide, then you would need a 51-inch trim kit. This is going to ensure that the tray will have the proper clearance as it slides in and out. Now, instructions, as I mentioned, are included but for more detailed information, make sure you take a look at this product page, and this product page will give you more information about which trim kit you'll need, and how to determine that based on your measurements. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Just received the product. It appears to be robust and good quality. I have not installed it in my RV yet.

Very good product and a great company to work with even if you have issues with a product they try to make it right
Very sturdy, just what we were looking for to add a pull out box to a survey truck. Box screws on and the rails bolt to the bed of the truck.
These rails are exactly what I need for my specialized application - a coffin slide mechanism for a crypt-themed escape room. They arrived on time and in good condition. They are bulletproof and appear to be well made. My application will need a slide that can function again and again many times a day for years to come. These slide rails look to be a great place to start. I got great service from order to receipt of product... I would definitely order from this vendor again!
These are great! Super strong I’ve been using them for a year now for a couple of generators.
Included 1 page instructions were focused on building a platform and not clear on slide rail insertion method into fixed rail.
Great product! Very well made. I used them to build a custom sized storage drawer in the back seat area of my work truck. This allowed me to use the maximum amount of space to store my battery powered tools in the cab, preventing further damage being stored in the service bed. If I need more slides, you will get my business!
