Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Jensen Heavy Duty Recessed Mount Outdoor Black RV Speaker. This heavy-duty, weatherproof design is a perfect upgrade or replacement for your RV, offering better sound from your TV and stereo on your RV. This is gonna be perfect for barbecues or outdoor movies. The dual-cone design reproduces bass and high frequency sounds better than full-range speakers.

The Mylar cone tweeter reproduces the high frequencies and the polypropylene woofer cone reproduces the bass sounds and internal damping. This features a durable, metal frame and grille that surrounds and protects the speaker from damage. This is ASTM B117 Salt Spray Exposure Standard Compliant for corrosion resistance and ASTM D4329 UV Exposure Standard Compliant. This is gonna be a simple bolt-on installation. Now, the overall dimensions, we are sitting right at four inches wide and four inches tall. And then the overall depth, we are sitting at right at about two inches deep. The woofer diameter is right at four inches. And the mounting hole spacing, see if I can line that up here for you, we are sitting right at, right at about three and a quarter inches on that spacing, center to center. Now there are two main dimensions you really need to know when choosing a replacement speaker, or adding a new speaker or speakers to your audio setup, that's the cut-out diameter.

And the cut-out diameter is the width of the circle needed to ensure the speaker mounts flush to the wall or ceiling. And measuring the diameter of that circle, we are sitting right at three, line that up here, there we go, three and three quarters on that cut-out diameter. But you also need to know the mounting depth and the mounting depth is the depth needed behind the mounting surface for the speaker's frame and magnet structure to fit. So measuring that, we are sitting right at an inch and three quarters on that mounting depth. Just some additional details you might be interested in. The maximum wattage is 30 watts.
