Bought RV at auction and the vacuum hoses were there, but the vacuum itself was missing! Replaced, but was missing the coupler to attach the hose from the built-in dustpan to the rear of the vacuum. This threaded coupler is the exact OEM part you need. It screws onto the flexible hose, then is a friction fit into the back of the vac. Instructions on the vac say you can glue in place with PVC cement, or just press it in place, which is what I did, so I can have the ability to easily remove the vacuum if needed. I mounted the vacuum in the removeable wall of the storage space, so if I need to get to an appliance, I can just remove the wall, twist out the coupler, detach the wires leading to the dustpan and pull the whole wall out, with the vacuum still installed. Makes a LOT of space in the basement to work when needed.
If you need to attach the "behind the wall" hose to the back of the vacuum, this is the right part for you. Also works to attach the hose to the y-adapter, if you have two inputs for the vac (the dustpan and a hose attachment for the wand).
