You're tracking dirt into your RV and pulling out a vacuum every time gets old. This compact central vacuum mounts in place and delivers consistent suction across floors and upholstery, so you can clean quickly without storing extra gear.
When a CS-series central vacuum setup needs a new power unit, storage space and access already matter. This CS9 power unit is typically used as a replacement unit for existing CS-series installations, keeping the install focused on the main vacuum body. The existing system can go back to handling onboard cleanup without adding a separate portable vacuum to store.
Simple utility installs can get frustrating when extra control components add more to plan around. Direct line-voltage operation works without a circuit board, giving the setup a straightforward control path. Power switching can be handled through the unit design, and the vacuum system can be used from a simplified installation.
Power planning matters when the vacuum unit is being placed in a tight utility area. The CS9 runs on 120V and includes a power cord for plug-in installation, which keeps the electrical connection clearly defined. Once placed and powered, the unit can support central vacuum use from its installed location.
Placement can make or break how usable a central vacuum install feels in a compact interior. The rear inlet configuration supports vacuum system layouts that route the inlet connection from behind the unit. With the connection planned around that rear inlet, the power unit can sit in its cutout while the system serves the intended layout.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this InterVac CS9 Vacuum Cleaner. Now, this is a central vacuum power unit that's really designed for simple, straightforward setups, especially if you've already have like an older system in place. This is gonna be most commonly used as a replacement unit for existing CS-series systems. So if your current unit has failed and you just need to swap it out, this is gonna be a solid compatible option for you to consider. One of the nice things about this is this does run directly on 110 volts.
And it doesn't use a circuit board, so that's gonna make it a bit more old school in design, but it's also simpler, and potentially, more reliable long term, since there are fewer electronic parts or components that could fail. The rear inlet configuration means that it's going to match up with specific existing vacuum layout. So as long as your system lines up with that rear inlet setup, installation should be pretty straightforward. It also comes with this power cord, and should be about five feet long, so there's not gonna be any complicated hard wiring. Up front here, you have a place here to slide your hose in.
You got your power switch, and then this front panel will come off. This will come with a dust bag and a filter. And we do carry replacements for the filters and the bag. When you need more, you can find those here, or you could go ahead and pick some up now with the purchase of this vacuum cleaner. So overall, this should be a pretty simple setup for you, especially if you're just replacing an existing unit.
Let me go ahead and give you some measurements just so I can give you the further confidence this is gonna be what you need. Looking at the overall length, we're sitting pretty close to 11 3/4 inches. Overall height, about 6 3/4 inches. The overall depth, again, about 6 3/4 inches or so. When we're looking at the cutout depth, about six inches.
The height, again, about six inches. And the length, right at about 11 inches, hopefully you can see that. Again, that's on the cutout. So this is built to fit neatly into a tight installation area. This is also UL certified, so it's going to meet the recognized safety standards. You see the mounting points here, the screws with the tabs here. Now, just keep in mind, this is going to be for the power unit only. This will not include the accessory kit like hoses or attachments. So if you are starting from scratch, you will need to purchase those items as well, and we do carry them here at etrailer. But if you happen to have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out, we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
