Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this InterVac 220 volt CS9 vacuum cleaner. Now this unit is primarily designed as a replacement power unit for older CS series central vac systems, so this is gonna be a good option for boat owners who already have a compatible central vacuum setup and wanna keep their existing setup running without having to replace the entire installation. One of the key advantages is it's simple design. This operates directly on line voltage and it doesn't rely on a circuit board, which means that there are fewer electronic components involved. For many, that can translate into simpler troubleshooting and maintenance over time.
As you saw, this unit does come with a power cord for two 20 volt installations, making this a suitable setup where that power is required. Again, typically marine applications, your boats, your yachts, and things like that. This does feature a rear inlet configuration, so it is intended for those central vac systems that route the vacuum tubing or hose connection to the back of the unit, but you also have the ability to use it in the front here as well for like your attachments. Now, it is important to note that this is going to be the power unit, only if you need hoses, mounting hardware, other accessories, those are gonna be sold separately, but we do carry those here at etrailer. Just wanted to show you that this pops off.
This does come with a filter and a bag, and we do have replacement bags available here at etrailer as well. Of course, we have our power switch and this is just going to pop right back in, just like that. Some measurements that might be helpful for you. Looking at the cutout dimensions, about 11-inches long, 6-inches wide, 6-inches deep. Overall measurements, we're looking at about 6-1/4 inches deep, 6-3/4-inches wide, and about 11-3/4-inches tall.
