These are fantastic and fit well. I have traveled 4000 miles with them on and the springs have held them in place. Equipment run fine with them attached. Don’t be afraid to use them as intended.

I am pleased with the CAM42150 water heater screen. The smooth trim at the edge protects the water heater door finish and the spring prevents movement and keeps the screen in place. The installation went well, even though I was hesitant to drill a 1/16" diameter hole in a louver to secure the spring. I would do this again.
Easy to install!
Installation of CAM42145 over the larger water heater vent opening was very easy. As with all the screen product that utilize springs to attach, the tool was included to hook the springs to the door. Initially, I was worried about "the look", having screens over all the openings. My wife was impressed with the appearance. When "mama's happy, everybody's happy!" :)

The screens (CAM42141) cover the furnace openings very well, are attractive, and stay put during travel. I was apprehensive that the wire screen would be rough around the edges but there is a very smooth crimped trim edge to prevent scratching exterior surfaces. An installation tool comes with the screens to make spring installation easy. The crossbar on the spring is at the end of the coil, prior to the hook. Once I found that, installation went smoothly.

I purchased this insect screen since it was the size I needed to cover the external fins on my hot water heater vent cover for my 2019 Fleetwood Bounder. It was very easy to secure to the cover with the supplied springs and tool. After a year, there is no signs of rust or any aging.
Works exactly as shown. We got it to cover our furnace outlet which is not the right dimensions for the round screens. Our furnace outlet is on a raised base and this screen fits around the outside of it, subsequently the springs are too long to hold the screen on so we ended up using some wire to hold it in place.
4 stars (poor factor package) but e-trailer box kept it together. Fast shipping and fair price. 5 minute install. Installed on Furion tankless water heater inlet/outlet of Imagine RL2500. Great job etrailer!!!

Did not fit correctly. After some bending and adjusting, it managed to work. However, still does not fit snug.
