Hello, neighbor, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the B&B Endura Range Exhaust Vent for for your RV with a 5/8 inch flange in the polar white color. So folks, this nice, durable, low profile plastic vent with a five inch flange depth for your RVs. The range exhaust damper is gonna open easily and have nice reinforced hinges. So everything back here is a nice thick plastic. You've even got two push lock latches.
Simply push 'em when you're going down the road or whatnot, not in use and, and then re unlatch 'em whenever it's time to start using the vent again. (vent clicking) Then you've got the nice cover shroud here. It does have slots three on the top or these are the pegs. The slots are on the top of this guy here and they'll simply match up. You pop them over once you get this installed, pop the side over into its position, and then you'd be ready to go like that.
So the first thing we need to do if you don't already have it, is cut out that access piece there or where you're gonna put it, rather. I was getting right at 10 3/4 inches by four inches overall. Now, as far as the outside dimension of this guy here, I was getting right at 12 9/16 by 5 7/8 not quite six. The flange depth here was right at 5/8 of an inch. Folks, it's made here in the US.
It has a nice one year warranty. You get the six install screws included with it, and it does have white on top of the cap. So the screws already nice little feature they did and you get a little roll of butyl tape. Now if you're not sure what this stuff is, butyl tape's kind of like a putty construction, and it's kind of squishy. You simply would put that around the whole flange here, put this in the hole on the wall of the RV camper, put your screws through where they need to go through for mounting and everything, and then that's going to go right through that butyl tape.
Make a nice watertight, airtight connection point. And then you would simply snap the cover over the top and you're ready to go. Now the plastic here that they've made this with is rated for heat and it's been developed not to fade, crack, or become brittle over time. Folks, this is a very nice vent here. The B&B Endura Range Exhaust Vent. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for watching, have a great one.
I think it’s a good product. I would have appreciated direction and cut whole size and attachment. I was successful in using it in a way that it made it work. I’m happy you got it to me. Thank you for reaching out and again thank Will for helping me with my receipt.
No customer service needed, but I love that they have pictures of the employees of who pulled the orders, packed the orders, etc.
Fast shipping!!!!!
I ordered came fast. I haven't installed it yet, haven't had time yet. I hope next week I can get it installed thanks for great service.
This appears to be a great product and a good replacement for the broken Heng vent that was original equipment. Installation was easy and the fit was great. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that while there are 10 holes for screws, I only got 6. Also, the caulking/putty tape supplied was not enough to surround the unit. I had to leave some of the bottom without caulk/putty.
Delivery was on time part was as descri bed.
Looks and fit better than the original
From ordering to delivery to our install of our exhaust vent, everything went smoothly. Thank you so much!!
Quality product that was an easy replacement for my camper's original. It did come with a pack of butyl tape (but not long enough to do the job) and replacement screws (need 10 screws, only came with 6 in package). So yes you still need to buy the installation kit separately.
This exhaust vent hood is of superior quality. It is far stronger and more robust than the original and my first replacement.
I know this will be my last time I need to make a repair.
The product was good and in perfect condition except for the fact that the holes didn't match up with the ones in my camper. Ended up sending it back and reordering a Camco since I didn't want to drill new holes in the RV. The return was quick and easy, thanks etrailer!
I was impressed with the product and the speed of shipping. It was nice to receive the butyl tape to assist with the weatherproofing but not enough (about 10 inches short!) to complete the installation. I had to run out mid job to purchase more.
It fit perfect and it looks great. Easy to install.
