Replacing your RV roof is a big job, and the membrane is the piece everything else depends on. SuperFlex gives you roof material that follows the roof shape, covers the surface, and helps the rest of the install come together.
When you're replacing your RV roof, the membrane has to span the roof surface before you trim it around edges and openings. This gray SuperFlex membrane measures 8-1/2' wide x 20' long and covers 170 sq ft per roll, giving your roof one large sheet to position during install instead of working from a smaller patch-style piece.
RV roofs may look mostly flat, but crowns and molded roof shapes still need membrane material that can settle into position without losing strength. SuperFlex construction is flexible and stretchable while staying puncture and tear resistant, and the 30-mil material has increased thickness, tear resistance, and elongation compared with PVC roofing. Once positioned, your roof has a fitted membrane surface that follows the roof shape.
This roll includes the SuperFlex membrane only, so plan the rest of the roof install before the old membrane comes off. Alpha Systems water-based adhesive (AL87CV or AL27CV), butyl tape (AL32EF), self-leveling sealant (AL68KV), and non-sag sealant (AL33KV) are needed and sold separately. Don't use silicone sealant, because it won't adhere to the membrane.
Getting membrane material onto the roof and lined up takes some help, especially on larger rolls. This 50-lb membrane is approximately half the weight of traditional EPDM roofing, making it easier to lift and position during install. The textured surface improves traction during installation and maintenance, while the UV-resistant surface resists fading, mold, algae, and fungus between periodic cleanings with standard household cleaners.

Alpha systems sealant is garbage. Do not buy!!! E trailer sold this to me and the product has caused damage to Adco cover. The sealant did not firm up and bonded to the RV cover. No help from E trailer or Lipperalpha systems. The covering is good but buy Dicor.. Thanks for nothing Etrailer. You were no help on this matter. I had to reseal the entire roof with Dicor. No refund from Etrailer or alpha systems. Absolutely no way to handle yourself Etrailer. Shame on you! Ill take my business elsewhere.
