Hello, everybody. This is Jeff etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Valterra E-Valve Electric Waste Valve for the one and a half inch pipe on your RV gray water tank. Now this electric valve here will replace your existing electric or manual gray tank sewer valve. It does include the two hub style ABS plastic fittings for a one and a half inch diameter pipe. This part will include everything laid out here on the table.
The electric valve assembly right here, a three foot long switch wiring harness, over here, a four foot long valve wiring harness. You notice it comes with a gray water switch plate that we've attached to the switch, the hardware for installing that plate, and a nice set of installation instructions. Now basically, this valve here will let you empty your gray water tank at just the push of a switch and keeps you from having to stoop over and struggle with a manual sore valve and have all those odors. Now, the switch itself is placed near your wet bay or anywhere else that's convenient. On the switch, it does have a warning light, so it'll let you know that the valve is open.
And this kit is all preassembled and pre-wired for installation. Again, we mentioned the application. One and a half inch sewer pipe. Comes with the two hub fittings. Voltage is 12 volts, and the power draw on this is 2.5 amps.

Terrific! And since we had an extended hard freeze this year, I heat traced each to avoid the frozen valves that wouldn’t even open manually until I got the bosses hair dryer on them. Additionally putting all the switches inside made life sweet.
