Question:
I’m looking at the electric dump valves. Question 1 can you leave them open for the day day doing laundry will this hurt the valve? Can I purchase additional switches so I can have them inside and out? Thank you Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Yes, you can leave the Valterra E-Valve Electric Waste Valve for RV Gray Water Tanks part # VAL23MB open while doing laundry so that your gray tank drains continuously. That being said, there are a few things to keep in mind about leaving the valve open. You'll want to make sure that you're connected to the correct sewer hookup to drain the water to. Also, leaving the valve open can allow odors to travel back up the sewer hose if you don't have a good water trap or sewer hose support. I don't recommend installing more than one switch because the open/close circuits could backfeed into each other.
Where's your favoirte place to go camping with your RV?
