Specs:
This 24V inverter changes DC output from your RV batteries into AC power so you can plug in tools and appliances. Using pure sine wave technology, it creates clean power with low distortion, making it safe, efficient, and perfect for sensitive electronics like computers. Plus, the inverter can generate 3,500 starting watts and 2,000 running watts which is a great fit for appliances and electronics.
The inverter includes 2 GFCI outlets for AC loads, positive and negative DC input terminals that connect to your batteries, and a port for a fixed-mount remote (sold separately). It has a function switch that lets you select different output voltages (100V, 110V, 115V, and 120V) and frequencies (50Hz and 60Hz). This switch can also turn the power saver on and off. Additionally, the power saving adjustment dial near the function switch sets the input and wake up thresholds for the power saver.
The system includes a number of safety features. It offers protection from over/under voltage, overloading, and overcurrent. The inverter also uses a heat sink process to protect from extreme temperatures, and an internal cooling fan removes excess heat from the unit.
For additional safety, installing a fuse between the battery bank and the inverter will protect your equipment from power surges. The Go Power 200-amp fuse block (sold separately) works with this unit and uses a slow blow time-delay feature to withstand surge current. This means it can handle short surges over 200 amps without blowing the fuse, which is great for devices with motors that require more energy to start.
The inverter mounts inside your RV in a dry location with ventilation. It should be installed in close proximity to the battery bank, but not in the same compartment. The DC terminals are wired to the battery bank.
There are 2 fixed-mount remotes (sold separately) that let you monitor and control the inverter from inside your RV.
For a simple, no-frills option, the Go Power GP-SWR-A Inverter Remote lets you turn your inverter on and off from inside your RV. It also has a LED which indicates the inverter's status.
For additional features, the Go Power GP-ISW-R-24 Inverter Remote provides LED indicators that display the voltage, output power, inverter status, power saving mode status, and fault conditions. It also has a power button that controls the inverter.

Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're taking a look at the Go Power industrial pure sine wave inverter. Now this is going to be an important component for your RV's electrical system. If you have an RV and you've used it, you know that the power for your house appliances is going to be powered by your batteries. Those are going to put off DC or direct current power, but a lot of accessories, things like our laptops or cell phones, any kind of household appliances, coffee makers, other electronics, TVs, things like that. Those all run off of AC power or alternating current. So an inverter is going to take our DC power, convert it to that AC power so we can run all those appliances without having any overloads and or causing any issues with our appliances.
The pure sine wave inverter technology just means that that is going to be a delicate enough system so that we're not going to overload our sensitive appliances like our laptops, computers, and things like that.Things that can be really damaged or fried if they're not treated with some care. So this is going to be a well-built system to be able to convert that power from one to the other and eliminate those issues so we can get the best of both worlds. We can still have our DC batteries giving power to all our DC power items, and then also have our ability to plug in everything that needs to run off AC power. Anything that's run off of 12 volt power, that's going to be DC, anything that's 120 volts, that's AC, to kind of give you another way of looking at it or another way of determining what kind of appliances you need for what. Anyway, that is also kind of review for those of you who already know that.
What's going to come in your kit You're going to get the actual inverter itself and then you're going to get these two connections for your battery. So we'll have the red plug and the black plug.Red typically is going to go to your power, black typically going to go to the ground. You'll also have these ring terminals, it's going to go over our battery stubs here and then this attaches over the top. They are color coded so the little black post so there's a little black line for the ground. So a red line for our power.
Let me turn that so actually you can see that. So it that's makes it pretty easy. And then it's cut out so once you have this guy in place, I'm just going to kind of mock this up here. This is going to go over, it sits nice and snug there. Protects that from any kind of contact with anything else.
Comes with the four screws to get this cover attached on either side so that's going to stay nice and secure. In the directions that it comes with, it does have a nice chart to let you know what kind of wiring you should connect to. This, it doesn't come with any wiring for it, it's going to kind of depend on your setup and what kind of applications you are going to be using this with. So it kind of depends on that, same thing with the mounting hardware. Again, it's going to kind of depend on where you want to mount this. Typically, they recommend that you mount the inverter close to your batteries but not in the same compartment just for safety reasons. As far as the features of this, it does have some built in safety features to make sure that you don't have any issues with your RV's electrical systems, things like current protection so you don't have to worry about over or under voltage. You don't have to worry about any kind of short-circuiting overloading or over or under temperature. It does have a cooling fan, so you kind of see that on this side. We'll have our fans so that we can make sure that everything's going to stay nice and ventilated, that's what I'm looking for, so that we don't have any issues with temperature. It also has LED indicators on the other side to show the input voltage level, the output voltage level, and any kind of fault conditions as well. You can see we'll also have some AC plugs, so you can plug that in. We have our on, off and remote switch. So this does have a remote capability, the remote is sold separately. You can find that here at etrailer.com if you want to pick that up and that just lets you monitor and control the inverter from inside your RV without having to actually get into the compartment and look at the unit itself. Again, that is sold separately you can find that right here at etrailer.com.The other thing that you can get with this would be a fuse block installation kit, which would let you convert or safely connect the inverter to your RV battery. So that's going to, again, protect your electrical system during power use. It is sold separately. You can find that where Right here, etrailer.com. We've got a lot of things help you make your RV a little bit better. So as the other features of our inverter, we do have those multiple connection points so we can secure our cables, so that I showed you the two AC cables. Then we also have our two GFCI AC outlets. That's going to be these two, that's just going to be the ground fault connection indicator and then two DC input terminals. Those are going to be right here and then the remote port which is on this side here.So should be a nice inverter, lets you go from a DC to AC power. As far as the numbers, the specs with this, it does work for 24 volt battery systems. The rated power, when running, the rated power output is going to be 2000 watts. For your starting or surge power output, it's going to be rated for up to 300 or 3,500 watts. The voltage for your maximum power is going to be 24 volts DC. Input it's going to be able to handle 21 to 33 volts DC, output is going to be 100 to 120 volts AC. It can operate between -4 degrees Fahrenheit up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit for that operating range for your temperature. Storage when not in use, it can hang out at -22 degrees Fahrenheit up to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. The maximum wire gauge suggested with this is going to be a number 4 AWG. As far as the size, it's going to be about 17 and seven sixteenths inches long or just under 17 and a half inches long, which that's going to be whenever our little guys are in place there, that's where it gets at 17 and a half measurement from. So I move this over, you can actually see that. 17 and a half inches there. And then about nine and three quarter inches wide. That's going to be going from one tab, mounting tab to the other. So if we flip this upside down, you get a better idea of that. Nine and three quarter inches, and then the total height, it's going to be three and a quarter inch tall. Weighs just about 11.55 pounds or just about 11 and a half pounds does have a two-year warranty from Go Power and should, again, be a great option for you to get that power converted from one to the other so you can use all of your lovely accessories in your RV. If you have any other questions, we have a lot of information here at etrailer.com to make buying process a little bit simpler, and we do have other options as far as inverters and converters here at etrailer.com. So definitely check them out if this doesn't quite meet the specs or meet the requirements for what you needed. Thanks for watching and will see you next time.

2,000-Watt inverter lets you use appliances and devices wherever the road takes you. Pure sine wave technology is perfect for sensitive electronics like HDTVs and computers. Changes your RV battery's DC output into clean AC power.Everything went well. I’m very pleased with the service & Inverter.
When I installed the inverter to my camper I was unaware that the entire camper would be run through this inverter protected wit 20a breaker which would not handle the load when air conditioner was used. I have since isolated the inverter and installed a subpanel to handle the just the refrigerator and gfci outlets. We will be primitive camping next week and I can update this rating then.
I originally hooked the inverter charger up to deep cycle marine lead acid (wet cell) batteries but have since upgraded to lithium batteries. What a difference in performance. I highly recommend LiTime batteries. They are 1/2 the weight and perform lead acid batteries in every way. The settings on the inverter charger needed to be changed by am very happy with it. The charger failed in just less than a year but they replaced the failed unit promptly after providing the pertinent information. Great service! Love it. It allows us with the lithium batteries to Boondock with the convenience of 120 volt appliances!
This was a like for like replacement for 1500watt Go Power in my Lance camper, so installation was easy and it was delivered the day after I ordered it. I was surprised it arrived so quickly. I will certainly keep that in mind if I get stranded at a campground.
This inverter was exactly what the customer needed for their small RV solar setup. After a few adjustments to power flow and charge setup, it works wonderfully. From a tech point of view, I like the flow-through 50A service and ease of installation.
We had an unexpected failure of a well known inverter product. We were in desperate need as we were moving permanently out of state. This product was just what we needed to keep our fridge powered while on the road during our move. We appreciate the hard work and dedication to get this new product to us before we moved. Kristin did an amazing job to get us going without any hitches. Thank you!
One year + later, this inverter is great! I have it connected to two battleborn lithium batteries. We can run our TV although we don’t much, our Microware, or our coffee Kirin machine - of course not all at once. The fan is a bit noisy but it only fires up when drawing heavy from the inverter. Love it and recommend it.
Good advice to help decide which inverter is right for us. Really fast shipping and delivery.
Works great, the unit is powering a work shed in the backyard. The Inverter is paired up with 400w of solar and two battleborn 100a batteries. The unit replaced a 3000w inverter from another company that fried twice within a year.
I am always amazed at how well the team and eTrailer service customers. The communication from product purchase to delivery is exceptional. Price/value of products is highly appreciated as well. I always save time and money when going to eTrailer to find parts for my Lance 2445 Trailer.
This product is reliable and works well to the stated 400 watts when the load is steady. I like that this unit works well with my 29.4V DC battery pack (7S). Past 250 watts, even small surges will trip the unit off. At around 250 watts(steady) my quart compressor cooler will kill AC power out when it kicks on. It appears that the 600 watt surge rating is inaccurate.
I have this installed and the included remote does not work as described in the instructions. When not connected to shore power the remote shows the charger function on yet the instructions say this is not an option.
Also, I changed the power saver mode to 15 minutes from the default off. I didn’t see a change in the remote output after several hours.
Less than 10 days after I ordered this etrailer dropped the price $XXX.XX. That’s not insignificant and they wouldn’t do anything for me about it.
Ordered Monday night at 6:30 pm and it showed up Thursday at noon with the free shipping option. Can’t beat that! Now I get to install over the weekend instead of waiting until the original arrival date of Monday. Will give 4 stars for now until it’s installed and working. Hefty unit at 50 lbs. install in my 2015 Amped 28FS looks like it will be very straight forward. Thanks etrailer for the quick shipping. Now I can’t wait to do some serious boondocking especially when my solar is installed and I can minimize the generator running!
Thank you etrailer! Excellent, super fast shipping!
We are currently working on hooking up the inverter we ordered from etrailer for the maiden voyage in our new trailer. It appeared these items would not be arriving before we left, but after a quick phone call to etrailer and a conversation with Steve Z. in customer service our inverter was on it's way by 10:00 am that morning. It did indeed arrive in 2 days giving us time to hook this up. We were thrilled as we wanted to put this trailer to work off the grid. Great service. Thank you so much.
I replaced my magnum that went out due to a wiring issue. It was easy to replace for the most part although the wire to the controll panel was 6 wire and the old one was 4. It works very well. All I lost was the self start of the old one. Very good product.
Inverter failed around the one year mark with light use. 1 star for that but 3 stars overall because of GoPowers customer service who provided a replacement without trouble.
Installed last year in a horse trailer with living quarters. Using with a pair of Dakota lithium batteries. Works great. Powers Microwave with ease. love the ability to pull from battery while also using generator; i can run both microwave and coffee maker together like this.
Points of note:
1) When inverter is turned on there is a quiet weird chirp occasionally. If you're a light sleeper sensitive to sounds, be prepared for a "what is that?" if it is installed in the LQ area.
2) If batteries are full and i plug in my Furman generator (Costco purchased from Costco), the generator gets tripped in to overload when float charging is enabled. Not an issue when charging batteries.
Quick shipping, easy install, works gre at.
Product works designed. It was professionally installed along with instant hot water and 4 vmax tanks.
I finally received my Go Power IC3000 after a nearly three-week delay. Unfortunately, I missed my window of opportunity to get it installed this year, so I am not able to complete a review of the product at this time. I can say, installation is going to be quite a challenge. The item is large and heavy. Finding a suitable location that meets all the requirements is going to be difficult. The batteries are located at the front of the trailer, while the AC lines are on the other side of the basement. Since the inverter cannot be located in the same area as the batteries, I'm not sure I am going to be able to reach everything and maintain the 10' maximum length requirement of the 0000 DC cable. We will see what happens next spring. I will post a follow-up review post-installation if possible.
Great price and very fast shipping. Best place for all your trailer needs
After 4 days of use this inverter easily does anything I need it to do, which is largely charging batteries when taking road trips. It handled my Dremel and 3/8 drill, as well. Didn’t try the grinder ?.
It’s well made with an all metal chassis, including front and rear faces – the only plastic is the black cover. It is substantial and heavy enough that it doesn’t look and feel cheap or breakable.
Overall, I like the unit and would recommend it.
My only strike against it is, IMO, a design flaw at Go Power. It is nuts to have the power connections on the back so close together. One of them should be located where the ground connector is. If one uses something more substantial than the #6 wire Go Power recommends and one should if the inverter is more than about 3 or 4ft from the battery. I am using #6 CABLE for a 9ft run. The plastic caps make it difficult to impossible to use lugs made for more substantial cable, but the proximity of one to the other makes it a safety concern to remove the caps. I had to file one lug more narrow to make it fit inside the plastic and left the other uncovered.
etrailer always does great!
The inverter works very well. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the front of the unit is made with cheap plastic. The screws that hold the electric outlet in the front of the unit is embedded into the plastic. The plastic broke the first time I plugged into the outlet. I was leaving in two days to go on a trip to Utah so did not send it back. I voided the warranty by opening the unit, reinforced the outlet by sandwiching the plastic front in between two pieces of aluminum and used screws to hold the outlet in place. Since doing this, everything has worked flawlessly.
I would not buy this item again due to the plastic front.
