Video Transcript for Review of GE Appliances RV Air Conditioners - 13500 Btu White Deluxe RV AC With Heat Pump - GE26ZR

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this GE Appliances 13,500 BTU white Deluxe RV air conditioner with heat pump. Now this is gonna be a great option for you to consider if you're looking to upgrade or add an air conditioner to your RV's ducted or ductless system in your small to medium sized camper. This 13,500 BTU per hour air conditioner is going to cool evenly and efficiently and it has a built-in heat pump for those chilly mornings. And this is all coming from a brand name that you know and trust. Now this does use the more energy efficient R-32 refrigerant and that's gonna meet the 2025 EPA regulations.

Because of that, this is not going to be backwards compatible with any air conditioner system from 2024 and earlier. Now this does include just this air conditioner unit. You do need to have a compatible air distribution box, control box, and thermostat for this to be a complete system. So if you don't have those components, we do carry the complete systems here at etrailer.com from GE so you can find the system with the air conditioner that you're looking for and also with the air distribution box that's gonna work with your ducted or ductless system. The air distribution box will come with the bolts to bolt this into place 'cause this will be a bolt on installation.

So if you're needing an entire system, you can find exactly what you need here at etrailer.com. This is gonna fit roofs from two to six inches thick with an opening size of 14 and three eight inches long by 14 and three eights inches wide. And this is gonna be right at 32 and 13/16 inches long and 26 and one eight inches wide and 13 and 15/16 inches tall. This weighs a little bit under 80 pounds, so this is gonna run pretty quietly for you because the motor has sound dampening grommets to help reduce that annoying humming and vibration sound. And as I mentioned, this does include a heat pump.

And as you probably know, that heat pump pulls warmth from the air to heat the inside of your RV or camper on those chilly mornings. And this is gonna be a pretty easy swap for most RVs. This is going to seamlessly install over your roof's preexisting roof vent opening. We do have foam pads at the base that's going to act as insulation between the unit and the roof. It's gonna be a nice, strong, stable support.

Of course, we have the gasket under there as well that's going to seal over that roof vent opening. And this is built tough for the road. It's constructed of high grade materials to withstand extreme UV rays and constant vibration. This white hard automotive grade polymer shroud is gonna protect the internal components from water and debris. It can be easily removed if you need to do any maintenance or cleaning. It does include the wiring harness and that's gonna be tucked up underneath this unit. And I thought it'd be easier and better for you to see an actual picture of what those connection points are going to look like. So you'll just pull that through the opening of your roof there to plug that into place. And you do want to keep the rear of this unit at least 18 inches away from any obstructions for proper airflow. And again, this is from the trusted GE brand, a reliable name that you know and trust, especially pertaining to appliances in the home. You're gonna be bringing that same trustworthiness and reliability into your RV with this air conditioner. Now if you do decide that this is going to be exactly what you need, that's great. We would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with getting this installed into place and using it. So you can share your experience with us by leaving a comment or a review on this product page. If you have any questions, give us a call, we'd love to troubleshoot with you and if you're running into any issues regarding installation. Well I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
