So this is designed for your vehicle that doesn't already have a roof rack, what they call a naked roof.

This uses custom fit clips and rubber pads. So lets you securely attach compatible feet like the Evo Clamp or Edge Clamp Feet to your Murano. The clips are straightforward to install. They just click into place and they're made of steel, so they're gonna grip firmly onto your door jams and to keep the vehicle in good shape, the clips have a rubber coating that's gonna help prevent scratches and scuff. So they're powder-coated to resist rust over time.

And on the bottom side, there are these molded rubber pads that are gonna match the shape of your roof. These attach to the feet and sit against your Murano, helping protect the paint and evenly distribute weight so nothing gets damaged.
