Micheal: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a quick look at the Roof Rack Leg Spacer Blocks for your Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. When you're using crossbars, it's important to keep them level as they go across your vehicle, to make sure that they're balanced correctly. That's what these spacers are going to do. It's going to allow you to raise up one side so that you can level that out as it crosses your roof, you can see we've got five different options here.

We've got our five millimeter, our 10 millimeter, our 15, our 20, and our 25. So, it's going to give us lots of different options to ensure that our crossbars are level. These can be mixed together. You just don't want to exceed 30 millimeters. So you could mix your five and your 25.

If you needed a total of 30, obviously there's other combinations to get you up to that 30. If you need that much, or if you only need 15, you can either do the 15 or a five and a 10, very simple to configure this to meet your needs.These are all sold individually. They come in a set of two. So it's going to be two five millimeters, two 10, two 15, so forth. They all come with their individual screws to get them mounted in place.

Basically, it's going to allow you to customize your crossbar feet so that you can get those crossbars leveled out to show you how this works. I've got a foot here.You want to unlock the end there. And you can see on the inside while on the outside, we've got our nut. And on the inside, we're going to have our screw, a washer and a split washer. We're going to use the hex key that came with our feet.

We're going to loosen that screw inside, so we can take our nut off on top. Then we'll use that same hardware, but we will replace the screw with one of our longer screws, depending on which kit we get. We do want to make sure that we keep that same organization. So the split washer and then our flat washer, then we'll go right back up into our foot.You can see that it's going to give us plenty of space there. So, if we need to add on our 25 millimeter, we can add that. Maybe we need to go up to 30, we can add that on there too. And we'll tighten down the nut again. Very easy to do it. Doesn't take much time at all, you just need to know how much space you need there. Once we have that tightened down, can put our lock back on. Cover there and lock it in place, we're ready to go. Very simple to do. It's going to give us that space that we need to make sure that our crossbars are level.
