Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer replacement snapper pin. This is gonna be for your Ram jacks, but also, just any other jack. For instance, we have one right here, it's literally gonna be the same exact size as the one that comes with any other jacks. So you can just go with this one. We made sure it's made a high-quality steel. And just whenever yours start to wear out, just grab this one.
It's a very economical choice, and you can find it on our website. So what this is gonna be for is for your castor wheels, but also your foot plates. It has a three-eighths inch diameter. So it fits right in there, not a whole lot of play at all and just have right into place. There's enough tension on it to make sure it's gonna stay on, but there's not too much to where it kind of makes it easy to take it on and off.
So that is one of the measurements. Other one is just from this thicker part right here to the very, very end. It's gonna be about two and three quarters of an inch. And then whenever I put this in right here, the gap between the very edge of the thicker part to the inside edge of the snapper part is gonna be about one and nine sixteens of an inch. So you can also use this on a coupler as well.
You don't have to just use it on the flute plate. So just take those measurements. And if you lost yours or you just need a new one, this is going to work with couplers as well. So it's a very versatile little snapper for your trailers. So I would definitely recommend grabbing one of these 'cause I lose them all the time.

This is just what I needed for my jack foot so I can switch it out to the wheel as needed. It works easily and should be plenty secure.
I used these snap pins to secure wheels to Franklin Scaffolding square post legs. The pin length and diameter were fine. The pin spring could have been a bit shorter which would have made for a snugger fit.

Have to pay attention to the diameter of the shaft on this. It would not fit through Curt coupler we purchased with this as a group, because the rod diameter is larger, and not meant for the that coupler. Will use elsewhere.
