Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Replacement Shrader Valve for your Yakima RoadShower. Now this part will replace the 1/4-inch Shrader valve that's for pressurizing your Yakima RoadShower water supply tank, which we do sell separately on our website. If you notice on this valve, it does include the aluminum valve cap that you can remove and access the Shrader valve itself. Now this is designed to fit all RoadShower models.
Works with the model number 8004100, the 8004101, and the 8004102 models. But that's gonna do it for our look at the Replacement Shrader Valve for Yakima RoadShower.

Good service and fast shipping ... but...
I had to replace the previous fitting due to the electrolysis that naturally happens between brass and aluminum, especially in the presence of water (as in a water tank). I am not sure what the engineers at Yakima were thinking (a brass fitting screwed into an aluminum tank ... that same fitting with an aluminum cap?!?). I broke the original one attempting to remove the cap (because it had welded itself to the Schrader valve). The solution to prevent this problem in the future was to use teflon plumber's tape on both threads. I hope this advice helps others. You're welcome;)

Happy with the product, not happy about the shipping. I ordered the product with the Yakima roof rack that was back ordered, did not know that it was back order until after I ordered it. It was over $100 order, so shipping on everything should’ve been free. But they informed me they would not ship the seven dollar item until they shipped the Yakima rack (2 to 3 months out), had to cancel the order for the seven dollar item and reorder and I had to pay for shipping the $7 item

Turns out, my truck with the RoadShower just barely does not fit in some parking garages. Amazingly, the only thing damaged was my valve. This replacement worked for me and was easy to install. No complaints.
Nice product, but did not fit my road trailer shower. I’m going to try some thread tape. It was a little longer than the valve it replaced.
4s roadshower and Yakima are the same i guessed and direct fit tank you

Part works well- after replacing I think me personal issue was he plastic washer under neath valve… my old one had collapsed. Probably left it under pressure in the sun for too long…
But for the money great replacement part
