To help the window from dropping, I recommend using the TremPro 644 Silicone Sealant - 10.1-Fl-Oz Cartridge - White # 0160297. This will keep the water out, is pliable when cured to maintain seal, and adapts to temperature changes. This sealant is not to be painted.
