Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this UWS replacement lock cylinder for toolboxes. Now this is going to replace a damaged lock cylinder on your UWS toolbox with square paddle handles. I do wanna make sure that you're aware of the fact that this will not work with drawer slides, dog boxes, T handles, or push button locks. This is going to work only with your square paddle handles.
And as you can see by the face of the lock here, and also the numbers that are engraved on the keys, this is going to be for, this uses key CH506. You will get two keys here with this lock, and this is the direct replacement from UWS. So you can have the confidence that this is going to work just like the original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues or anything like that. But I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.

The replacement locks arrived faster than I expected and worked great. Very satisfied. The tool box I put them on had one lock missing and one damaged. The only thing I saw that was not in the package with the new locks, that was on the old damaged one was washers to go on before the nut. I'm not even sure if they are required but I will DEFINETLY order any other items I may need in the future from Etrailer.com

Exactly as advertised. Needed to replace the lock on a toolbox added to a work truck. Bought a new lock so I would have the only keys. Very simple install. i etched out the lock number once installed. Its been installed and used for a year now and I have had 0 issues.
Locks were exactly what I needed/expected and the shipping was fast. E trailer always has great customer service as well, I’ve ordered a couple times from them and have had questions that were answered promptly and accurately. Keep it up!
I didn't receive the party on time
Locks were good all keyed the same and way transaction BUT no Lock nuts or retaining clips included! Yea I can reuse ones I have if they were all there . A little disappointing but I guess I should hav inquired.
My son's tuck toolbox cam without a key and needed a new lock. This product was the exact match of the old lock and the exact same key number!
easy to install after three month it was hard to put my key in due to weather sprayed some wd40 it was easy after that never had any more problems bad thing is they have this number on sideof lock that someone can easy buy replacement key and get in your stuff I grind the number off

Locknut was missing, so took away 2 stars. No big deal, just used Loctite red and a similar sized locknut from my shop as a stopgap
This lock is a perfect replacement for my aluminum Dee Zee utility chest. It looks and fits just like the original.
It does everything I expected. That is to say, it locks the toolbox.
