Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Replacement Inner and Outer Base Cover for the Thule DoubleTrack Pro 2 Bike Rack. That's right, folks, this replaces the inner and the outer, two pieces here, of the Thule DoubleTrack Pro 2 Bike Carrier, that's sold separately. The item number is TH9054, and this is basically just two pieces of plastic. Direct replacement from Thule. So, you should have your three screws to replace this.
Maybe you cracked or broke yours. You simply slide this through, and then put this guy back on the outside, put the screws in to hold it in place, and you're back on your way. So, again, folks, a direct replacement part from Thule made by Thule, so you can be sure it works with that Thule DoubleTrack Pro 2 Bike Carrier. The piece arrived and was easy to replace. Reading the reviews and watching the video were helpful. By reading reviews was aware needed to keep screws from the previous part.

It would have been nice to know that the 3 required screws were not included, or which screws were required. Otherwise good product.
One part of the plastic housing was broken when I received the bike rack. I notified etrailer and Judy M arranged to have the replacement shipped to me. Great customer service!
Cover looks to be ok. When original cover broke off it took the screws with it so I was hoping the screws would come with new cover but they didn't so I will have to go buy some screws.
Product was exactly what was ordered and what was needed. Only problem was it was shipped without the 3 special screws necessary to install it on the hitch. Fortunately I could get those in a secondary order,

I installed the cover on my thule bike carrier and after 1 trip south it cracked. I have it taped up right now to keep it together. I dont know whats causing the problem it fit good when installed.
