Mot a lot to say really, its a bracket!! It fitted ok, hasn't rusted, still doing its job
My existing wire harness connector was a single molded rubber plug. The green wire on the underside of the trailer was connected to a green wire from the relay junction box with a non-heat-shrinkable butt connector. The crimp connection made was not solid and water penetrated the copper wire. This caused galvanic corrosion and problems with the trailer lighting operating correctly.
Therefore, I had to devise my own kind of wire harness connector and mount box cover for my trailer that did not use any butt connectors. I used black Gorilla epoxy to secure the wire harness in the Roadmaster socket and to reinforce the back side of the exterior mount box. It works great! The Roadmaster bracket is secured with machine screws and washers now and the epoxy is strong enough to prevent the wire harness from being pulled out of the bracket.
