Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking for a replacement hardware kit for the CTM4000 and the CTM1600 towing mirrors. Now, this replaces the installation hardware for those Longview original custom towing mirrors. You're going to get everything you see before me, the nine knobs, the hooks, and enough of the hardware here, rather, for a pair of mirrors. So depending on which ones yours need, you may or may not use all this, but most likely, you probably would. You even got the felt pads there and these little curve guys here on the end.
So, if you've already used these before, you kind of know how they go installed. So, just double-check the instructions that came with your set. But basically, you know, these screw in, and then when everything gets tightened, it's going to be tight and holding on like it should. Now, this may not be the orientation, I'm just kind of throwing stuff together here on the table just to show you it all screws together. So again, check your instructions.
This is a direct replacement from Longview for those custom towing mirrors. And that's going to wrap it up for our look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Hardware kit came in very handy as I had to replace parts on both of my towing mirrors
I bought a spare mounting kit to carry with me because I am afraid that these plastic parts will break while I am traveling somewhere with my trailer. E-trailer shipped them promptly.

I have not had to use the spare hardware because I rearely used the removable towing mirrors.
You had the part available and shipped immediately. Everything fit perfectly and was easy to install. Thanks again for the efficient service.
Original was very old and had lots of sun exposure. Replacement was available and shipped in a timely manner. I have been very pleased with etrailer.
Replacement works fine. The original part failed because UV sunlight weakened the material causing it to break. Fortunately it broke while the truck was parked and I did not lose the mirror.

We ordered an extra set of extension mirror brackets since we are going to Alaska next year and want to be prepared for all of the bouncing and rattling that may occur on the highways. The ones we have on the morrirs now are GREAT, but we want to be prepared.

I am doing the same thing, but not going to Alaska. The spare brackets would be nice to have as they seem a bit flimsy and the weather could make them weak. Slide Ons are GREAT though.
I bought a pair of extended towing mirrors from e trailer 3 years ago and have used them on many trips with my travel trailer. Recently one of the plastic hooks broke. Called Karen and ordered a replacement hardware kit and received a confirmation email of my transaction before I hung up the phone. Karen has a great attitude and is well organized, and I received my hardware kit two days earlier than expected. Thanks e trailer.
I hald one of the brackets break due to an accident. Service from etrailer was great. I placed my order and the replacement parts were shipped and I received them in about four days.
The tow mirrors fit nicely over the truck mirrors. it took a little time to figure out how to attach the town mirrors but once I got it done, it was simple.
The mirrors themselves are great. We just did a 14000 mile trip towing a trailer. The mirrors are steady, do not loose there position and do not vibrate.
I bought the towing mirrors about three years ago, put about 40,000 miles on them, and forgot to ever check how tight they were. The car wash was the last straw because, 35 miles later, one of the mirrors fell off the truck. It wasn't broken, not even the mirror, but the hardware was nowhere to be found. So I went right back to etrailer and am now back on the road.

I had to order the replacement part due to one of mine breaking.
The mirrors have been on for 31000 miles so it is to be expected.
service was excellent, had a order issue (my Fault) and the staff took care of it with a phone call.
Over all an easy and good experince.
This replacement hardware was great and kept me from having to purchase another complete mirror set (which are very good quality as well). I recently gave the mirrors away due to retiring the truck and replacing it as well.
Quick delivery and a pretty fair product. If this product had rubber straps rather than all very small plastic parts I think it would work and last a lot longer though.
The replacement hardware is fine. I just wish the original parts had been metal instead of plastic, because then replacement hardware probable wound not have been necessary.
Had been missing one know when mirrors arrived. Called emailed and a complete replacement kit of parts immediately sent out to me. Great service from etrailer!
The product is exactly what I expected it would be. I only would say that I would prefer the product be made of metal and not plastic. I have not put it to use yet . I only made the purchase as a back up . The parts that originally came with the mirrors are still ok but if one of the parts should fail I now have the replacement parts in hand and ready to use.

Mirrors stayed on tight, no wobbling and tilt able. I’d recommend anyday! Thankfully replacement parts were available as I lost one of the parts!
$18 for hardware kit that is used sparingly? I'd rather pay a little extra for hardware that is much more durable.
So far so good have used mirrors for only 1 year

Product is all you need to replace mounting mirrors very complete
These worked, but change color and get brittle. That's the reason I had to order replacements.
