Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're taking a look together at a replacement installation mount hardware for your longview custom towing mirrors. Now folks, this kit here will replace the installation hardware for your longview towing mirrors, item number LVT-1800. You're gonna get the two plastic clips here with the matching plastic nuts. Now the outside's plastic, the inside does have a threaded piece in there that also looks plastic. Unfortunately, it's black like the plastic, so I really couldn't tell you if it's metal or not.

It kind of feels like it's metal, but take that for what it's worth. And again, you're simply gonna use these to clamp onto the mirror and hold the longview towing mirrors in place. Extended mirror locks still working great!

These are replacement parts for my Longview slid on towing mirrors just in case one of the original retainer would happen to break while I was towing my RV. They appear to made from top grade material and will fit just right.

I’m very happy that these mirror clips are available as a replacement part - it saved me from having to spend $80+ for an entire set of new mirror extensions.
I’m torn on the actual quality of the product: it’s made of (breakable) plastic. But that’s my quandary because if it had not broken when the mirror clipped the too-close-to-the-roadway mailbox, the entire mirror or possibly my truck could have been damaged far worse than a minor paint scuff.
Overall, I’m happy with the product.

Working with etrailer is a dream. What they say they will do when you place your order is always exactly what you get. These were replacement parts for mirror I ordered from eTrailer some time ago. It was my error that the parts broke, not a fault of the product. Glad to see they were available and provided quickly. In this time you often see out of stock messages.

All is very well!!!

I have put the driver side on it fit's perfect, there is only 1 flaw. That is that at the top the plastic doesn't cover the entire mirror that is it, if you could fix that it would be perfect. Taking a trip in a week or two, I'll let you know how it worked when I get back.

I bought these as back up to those that came with mirrors I recently purchased. It appears to be a great product and the additional hooks may never be used but thought it good to have spares.

Good product. Easy to put on and off and they look good. Very happy.

They get the job done, but seem very expensive when you figure they're are half the price of the whole 2 mirrors that come with them. Add freight and it adds up to "don't loose one of these"!
