Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this replacement pin for your Solera RV awning. Now this is going to replace the 1 3/8 inch by 1 11/32 inch pin for your Lippert Solera RV awning. This does have a Dacromet finish that's going to help resist corrosion. So, as you probably know, you're gonna need this replacement pin if your current awning arm or pitch arm assembly is missing this pin or if the original has become damaged, bent, or worn out.

This pin does play a critical role in securing the pitch arm to the main arm or locking the arm in place. So if this pin is damaged, the awning arms may not function properly or safely, potentially leading to failure during extension or retraction. A missing or faulty pin can also cause difficulty when adjusting the pitch or deploying the awning, and, as you no doubt know, operating the awning without all of the correct parts can strain other components and lead to more expensive repairs.
