Replaces 1 of the saftey pins that came with your Curt tow bar with adjustable-width arms (C19745). Safety pin lets you attach 1 tow bar arm to 1 of the brackets on your vehicle's bumper.

Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at the replacement safety pin for your CURT tow bar with adjustable-width arms. Now folks, again, this will replace one, quantity one, of those safety pins that came with that CURT tow bar with the adjustable-width arms. That part number of the tow bar is C19745. Now, I will pop up an image on the screen there, and in the bottom right-hand corner-ish, those two flat pieces, that's where this pins go in into those connection points. And a close up here, I'll get you the dimensions here in a second.
That's a simple spring style. Pop that off. This guy pivots out the way and it can pop back on whenever you got it in use. There we go. Now for some dimensions.
Overall, the pin is four inches long. The usable space, so from here to the shoulder here, is three inches, and it is 1/2-inch-thick pin Again, folks, you're getting quantity one safety pin. That's gonna wrap it up for our look at this safety pin. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

Great replacement
Good quality - difficult to get the keeper over the pin. pretty much takes 2 hands to do it.
Kind of defeats my purpose
Clips were way too hart to open. Took both hands and I am pretty strong. Will consider returning them, if possible. Otherwise will probably trash. Defeats purpose!
