Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the coupler pin. This is going to have a quarter-inch diameter. It's going to keep your trailer coupler from coming undone, keep it secure while you're towing down the road, and keep everything in place. So I'm going to give you some measurements to make sure that this is going to be a fit for your application. The usable length of our pin, as far as the total length there, going from the bottom of the head, it's about three and a quarter inch. But whenever we put our keeper over, it's going to take away a little bit of that usable length.
So now, it's more like two and three-quarter inches without stretching that pin out at all. It does have some gifts, so you could probably get that out to about three inches if need be. The space between our pin and our keeper, that height there is about an inch and a half, total length. It's about three and a half inches by about two inches. And again, that pin does have a diameter of a quarter-inch.
This has a zinc plating over the seal, so it should be corrosion-resistant, should be able to withstand being out in the elements for a long time without any issues. That's pretty much going to do it for our look at the coupler pin. If you need a different configuration, we do have a lot of options available here at etrailer.com, so check them out. Thanks for watching.
