Speaker 1: Today we're takin' a look at the replacement standard shoe assembly for snow plows. Now this unit replaces a standard shoe assembly for Western Snow Plows. It replaces Western 49067. It comes with the pen and clip for easy and quick attachment. The shaft diameter right here is one inch. And I did take a measurement from the top of this area right here, so from where that bottom washer's sitting.
This right here to the center of that pin hole got a measurement of six inches. And the base itself, outer edge to outer edge, has a diameter of six inches.Overall, it's a really nice design. It comes with multiple flat washers so that way you can adjust the shoe height when installing. It's made from a durable steel construction, and it's made in the USA. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement standard shoe assembly for snow plows.

The mounting rod coming off of the skid pad was at an angle and not perpendicular to the pad. Will still work but quality could be better.

Successfully installed on Bush Hog model 3506 Backblade. I needed the extra shaft length (8") of this shoe compared to the ones I had (only 5 1/2"). Thank you very much.
The shaft length is not the same as the OEM part.
On first usage it came loose and fell off. Luckily I found the foot.

Was delivered early just in time to plow after storm and was able to my jobs done.
We had an issue where the post office only delivered one of the two items we had ordered. The box was torn and likely the other unit had fallen out. We called etrailer and they promptly sent out another unit the very same day.

Product is working great. It was my fault I should’ve ordered a shoe with longer shaft. Now I know. We had to make these a little longer. Good product though.
Great price and appears to be excellent quality. Actually plan to use this as a replacement to a similar shoe that came off the front plow of a 1941 Ford 9N tractor. This was the closest match we could find, so with a little bit of welding, the old plow will soon be back in service!
