Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Hike Crew Portable Propane Water Heater with Shower. Now this is gonna be great for car camping or times when your campsite is a short hike away. This battery powered portable water heater is going to give you a handheld shower to enjoy hot water to keep you fresh and maybe you can even use it to keep your dishes clean as well. Now this can be powered by ACDC and 12 volt. It does come with the appropriate power adapters for either one.
And this uses disposable propane canisters to heat water up to 125 degrees Fahrenheit. We have this front LCD panel here and it has a power button, and I do have juice on the battery there, so I'm able to light that up there for you. So even with my bright studio lights on, you can see that this is a very bright readout, so you're gonna be able to monitor the temperature. And this also has a temperature control knob, obviously, as you can see here. You can monitor the battery, and it looks like I've got a full battery there thus far.
So very easy to see at a glance. And so the power button, as I mentioned, then you've got your start button here and I'm just gonna kick this on real quick. That's gonna activate the pump. I don't know if you can hear that or not, but pretty quiet. Then I'll go ahead and turn that off.
I'll go ahead and turn the unit off. So really easy to read, easy to use, it looks like. So you're gonna be able to use this for showering, washing dishes possibly, and just general hygiene. And the shower is going to plug into this front plugin connection right here. And so it's gonna be kinda like a quick release where when you're ready to release this you're just gonna pull this collar back, and then when you're ready to put that back on, just give it a firm press until that collar snaps over and you'll have that nice firm connection.
So the shower plugs right up here in the front and then the handheld shower head here, lemme bring this around here so you can see this does have a on and off button for convenience. So when you don't need it, like right away, maybe you're shampooing your hair or something like that, you can turn that water off so you're not wasting it and then turn it back on. So it's adjustable as well. So really this is kind of like what you would have at home if you have a removable shower head at home. It's very similar. So you'll be very familiar with that. And then as you probably can't see from that angle, but this does include this mount. And you can basically mount this faucet holder or faucet mount anywhere along this handle if you want. And you just tighten it down and then you're just gonna be able to keep that shower head right there. So it's always ready to go. It's not gonna be dragging around on the ground or anything like that, so that's very convenient as well. This does have an operating water flow of 0.56 gallons per minute. The internal rechargeable battery is going to give you up to 50 minutes of runtime at full charge. And then alternative power must be supplied by ACDC or 12 volt source. The water supply has a submerged pump, so as you can see, I do have the pump hoses plugged into the back. It's gonna be a similar connection, and then I have it plugged into the appropriate power port as well. So then with that pump, as I mentioned, you're just going to submerge this and it has a filter. So you could submerge this in like a water jug or a five gallon bucket filled from an onsite source. So you just drop that in and then that will pump the water through the unit here to warm it up, and then through the shower head. This also features a tilt switch, water flow sensor, and fuse protection. It's gonna all provided there for you for added protection and safety. And this handle that we mentioned here is going to allow this to be easily transportable. So this does include the ACDC and 12 volt adapters. We'll bring that into frame there, what I'd call the cigarette lighter when I was a kid growing up. So you do have those two adapters. You've got the shower attachment that I mentioned, and then the pump hose with the power adapter. I don't think I mentioned the gas regulator. So that's also included. I have that secured there. So that's where your, obviously, your propane's gonna go. And then we also have this great carry bag. Let me zoom back out here. And this is, in my opinion, a very high quality rugged bag. So this is going to have room for not only the water heater but also all of the attachments and accessories. So lemme bring that around there so you can see, so plenty of room, it's padded so that's going to offer you protection. And it'll just zip up very easily. You've got carry handles here and so this, and then you got these great feet here on the bottom, so you're not gonna have to worry about this sliding around on slippery surfaces. So that bag is gonna do a great job of keeping everything together, keeping everything protected, and everything's gonna be all in one place for you when it's in storage. So maybe you have this in your basement or your garage when you're not using it. That bag is gonna keep everything protected and clean. So that's a great addition. And then it's gonna make it very easy to transport, make it very, all the more portable for this portable water heater. I took some measurements before our time together. Looking at the overall height, we're about 13 and a half inches tall. What I'm calling the overall length about 10 and a quarter inches long. And then the depth, including our handle here, about 16 inches deep altogether. So I think this is a great unit, a great device, especially if you're looking for an easy way to get a quick warm shower on the go while you're camping or what have you. If you do pick this up, I wanna hear back from you. Let us know how this is working out for you, share your experiences with us.
