ActionTrac motorized running boards automatically deploy a second step as your Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited's doors open and retract when the doors close. Integrated LEDs and obstruction-sensing smart system enhances safety. Easy installation with custom fit kit.

Features:

Motorized running boards lower automatically to create a pair of steps on each side of your vehicle
- 2nd Step deploys and retracts from main housing when doors open and close
Raised treads provide traction in all weather conditions to help you safely enter and exit
- Built-in design means there aren't any step pads that ever need to be replaced
Smart system keeps steps from deploying or retracting when an obstruction is detected
- Prevents risk of pinching and damage done to steps by large rocks or other impediments
Integrated LED lights activate upon deployment to improve visibility and ensure safe entry and exit
Power override switch lets you disable automatic step function and LEDs
- Keeps steps lowered with doors closed to easily access the roof

How Long Should the Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards Take to Install
I actually installed a set of these similar on my Ram and it took a buddy and I about 2 and half hours, including a hardware store run. Luckily you won't have to worry about that, because the Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards with Custom Installation Kit # AA3036571 includes everything you need for installation. So, I'd say a professional who's done this before could easily do this in 90 minutes or less.

Hi Tim; the Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards # AA3025165 won't drain the battery. There should be no parasitic voltage. The only power draw comes from the running boards opening or closing and the LED lights.
