Question:

I am looking for a set of powered step boards for my 2022 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited. I like the looks ofthe Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards - 79inch Item # AA3025179. Will these fit my Jeep? Will I need anything additional? Do they make a connection that works from an OBDII port or something else rather than the magnetic connector that mounts inside the door?

For your 2022 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited you need the Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards # AA3036571. This comes with the custom installation kit so the ActionTrac will fit your Jeep. There is no alternative for the magnetic sensor to automatically deploy the running boards. The only other options would be to use the Door Delete Kit # AA3020000, but that will convert them to manual operation using a button.
