Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Carr LD custom fit polished aluminum side step for a quantity of one step. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1997 to 2006 Jeep TJ Wrangler. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application.
Now, this is a nice, rugged, square-edged step that'll let you get into and out of your vehicle with ease. This will include everything shown here on the table. Includes the one step, the two zinc plated steel mounting brackets that I've already installed, and all the mounting hardware you need for installation. Comes with a nice set of instructions. Now, these are wide deep steps.
They extend about two inches further from the truck than other steps. And they do use an aggressive diamond tread surface to provide sure footing. Just wanna zoom in and show you that surface. And it also has a polished chrome-like finish to it that'll complement almost any application. It is a vehicle specific mount installation, provides a simple, precise fit for your vehicle.
Basically, as you can see, you'll install these steel brackets first to the step. And then the step is lined up on your vehicle and then attached to the vehicle using the hardware. All the hardware's included. Now, some drilling may be required. This is a die-cast, aluminum alloy construction is rustproof.
Has an XM3 polished aluminum finish to resist chipping, peeling, and fading. And it is made in the USA. Few dimensions on this, we're gonna measure the step. So, the very front, the width of it is right at about 13 inches. And the very back is right about 15 inches. Total depth on this step itself is about four inches deep. And the drop when this is installed, from the bottom to the very top of the step is gonna be right at five inches. Weight capacity is 500 pounds. And it is for a quantity of one step.
