Today on this 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Crew Cab we're going to install part number WT120035. This is the WeatherTech Mud Flaps. This part number is for the rear of the truck. First off, we're looking at the passenger side and we need to remove these two fasteners, these torques bit fasteners. The nice part about the kit is it supplies you with the torques tool that you need, but this is all you get. To make things a little easier you could actually use a ratchet with a quarter inch socket and use it to remove the screw.
You could also use a quarter inch wrench on it as well. Here's the mud flap we're going to put on from WeatherTech. I'm going to make sure that this indicator is in then unlocked position. Just rotate it on the back side. We'll go ahead and put it into place and align these two holes with the holes that we removed the screws from.
Basically align it with the outside edge and you'll get the same effect. We'll go ahead and re-install those screws. These may be snug. We don't really need to crush them. We'll go ahead and tighten down our screw and then the indicator will go over to the locked side. The tool we're using does come with the mud flaps.
It's installed and we're shaking the truck. You can see on the outside edge, you can see how it matches the contour of the sheet metal as well as the plastic insert here as well. Our passenger side's done. Let's go repeat the same process over on the driver's side. That'll finish it for our install of the WeatherTech Mud Flaps on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Crew Cab.
