Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today, we're looking at our Access Rockstar custom mud flap with heat shield. Now folks, this is considered a full width diamond plate heat shield, and it is a custom fit application, so make sure you're checking the fit guide here at etrailer.com. And the things like year, make, and model, be sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Now I'll step outta the way, so you can kinda see this thing in all of its beautiful glory. So you have a nice diamond plate top up here that's got a rubberized coating, and then you have a nice, thick rubber, five 16ths inches thick to be exact.

It's a smooth rubber, and it's gonna offer better protection than the thinner mud flaps that are out there. Now let's take a closer look. As you can see, you get all the mounting hardware included. You've got some pins here that'll go through the brackets that then would be attached on the backside, and they would hang on the other brackets that get mounted to the vehicle itself. You also have an optional heat shield.

If you need to, follow the instructions on where and how to mount that. And as you can see when I zoom back out here, you do have that cutout already for the exhaust. So again, these are custom fit. Make sure you're getting the right one for your specific needs. Now these mud flaps are gonna be great for shielding tow vehicles from mud rocks, debris, also maybe a boat, anything that you're pulling behind you on a trailer, and also other people that are out there on the road with you as well.

And I like the fact that it's a nice custom fit and custom look. It's gonna keep everything looking like it came from the factory, and everything here just has a really, really nice finish on it. I do wanna take it and flip it around so you can see the backside as well. So in the middle here, this does come in two pieces. Right about here, there's a nice piece of stock that slides right into each side of those channels, and then you bolt that in place with the included hardware, and that's what's keeping this nice and sturdy.

And let's see if I can give you a a side view of this. So you can see it comes with end caps and everything, nice thick rubber, so this is really, really beefy and strong. You don't have to worry about anything breaking on you. It's gonna last for many, many, many years to come. Overall, the length overall, I got 82 inches long, and on the height to me, not this side, but the other side was just a little taller. So the very, very tallest side here, I got 15 and five eighth inches tall overall on a height. So again, they're roughly the same, that side just a little bit taller. And that could be because of when I bolted these together, I might not have got a thing lined up. So rough estimates on the measurements, don't take those to be a 100% accurate. (chuckling) Now again, what's nice about this rubber is it's gonna maintain flexibility in both hot and cold temperatures. Negative four degrees Fahrenheit, very impressive. It's gonna be very flexible. And once again, that heat shield protects the mud flap from your hot exhaust along with the cutouts and everything. So pretty easy installation, take your time. The mounting brackets and everything are included, you're gonna use the existing holes that are already made in the material itself to mount it, and like I showed you on the back, that nice stabilized bar prevents everything from bending, curving and those kinda things.
