Video Transcript for Review of Access Mud Flaps - Custom Fit - A23NG

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our Access Rockstar Mud Flap. Now folks, this is a full length commercial grade mud flap. It measures three eighths of an inch thick. They recommend a ground clearance of at least six inches.

And overall, I got 82 inches long. And that's from that end all the way over here to this side, 82. And then I got 16 and a quarter inches tall. And that was from the tallest part right down here. Tallest part on the other side, sorry.

So this is a little bit lower than the very end. So right there on the end is where I was measuring that 16 and a quarter inches tall. Now, this is a custom fit. It looks like it's gonna fit the 2020 to current year GMC Sierras and Chevy Silverados, the 3500 series, specifically non-dually truck. So make sure you're double-checking that fit.

Go to etrailer.com where it says My Vehicle Information. Enter things like your make and model, bed length, cab style, those kind of things. Make sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Also, if you mind, some of these are different even between diesel and gas trucks as well. So make sure you're checking all those different boxes and getting anything like that figured out.

Keep in mind this is just a generic photo, that could be a technically different one, different truck, those kind of things. But this is the general idea. So I want to show you that. Again, full width, custom fit. They're gonna shield your towed vehicle trailer, those kind of things from road debris. As we know, things like to fly up on the roads. Let me get outta the way so you can see the whole thing. And this is gonna do a great job at keeping everything from flying up and smacking the front of your very nice travel trailer. Maybe you have a nice car on your trailer, race car, who knows, classic car. Lots of different things out there. So it's a very good option for you. And installation is simple. I just have this mocked up here. Obviously, this is where your exhaust would come out. And I'll flip it around to the backside here in a minute. But there's a heat shield back there as well. But basically, this bracket here would be bolted onto the vehicle side, and it would stay in place. And then you would simply pull out this spring-loaded pin. And then again, this would basically stay on the truck side, and then you would have your mud flap. So you could take this off if you wanted to. Whenever you're not, you know, towing anything. Or you can leave it on full time. It's totally up to you. And as you can see, all the bolts and everything, I have some of them still loose, but this is technically a two piece. So there's a piece here, and right here at the middle is where they connect. And let's go ahead and spin this round so I can show you just how they're doing that. Again, three eighths of an inch thick. And now when I spin it around, you can see that heat shield back where your exhaust tip's gonna come through. You can see the backside of those brackets that we inchesre sticking through the front. And then you can see these aluminum bars here. So lightweight, there is a very thick piece of steel where the two marry up together, they're in the middle. And all the bolts that go through there are holding that on nice and tight and easy. And it's got a little weight to it. Like I said, it's commercial grade, so they made it beefy, they made it strong, which is what we want, right So again, folks, this is the Access Rockstar Mud Flap.
