Today on our 2016 GMC Sierra 2500, we will be taking a look at and installing the WeatherTech Front Mud Flaps, part number WT110036. First thing we're going to do on the installation of our front mud flaps is to locate the screws that we're going to use to mount our mud flap. We take our mud flap and hold it up into position to kind of get a better understand of where it's going to go. We'll have to remove this one here and this one here. If your vehicle is equipped with a third one, it will be located right here. Go ahead and remove those two screws and set them aside for reinstallation once we have our mud flap in place.
Use the inaudible 00:41 provided in your kit to remove the hardware. Once you got both the screws removed or three if yours is equipped with it, go ahead and hold it up into place. Place the top screw in to line it up with the mounting location. If you look at the back here, it's also going to have a ridge that will fit on the inside of that fender flare coming straight from the factory all the way around. Go ahead and get that top one started. Then we'll line up that bottom one.
Go ahead and get it started, as well, and then tighten and secure them. If it helps and if you'd like, you can always turn your wheel, too, to give you more room here to work. All right. Now, with those nice and secure on there, it's going to protect your body against any kind of debris getting kicked up from those tires. You're going to protect that bottom side and rocker panel from any kind of rocks or anything coming up and chipping that paint, keeping any mud and/or snow pack from building up around your tires. It's going to keep it all down here where your tires can clear it away.
That will do it for our review and installation of the WeatherTech Front Mud Flaps, part number WT110036, on our 2016 GMC Sierra 2500.
Great
