Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at an extended length support rod for the Rock Tamers Heavy Duty Adjustable Mud Flap System. So folks, this 33 and 3/4-inch long rod will replace the standard equipment, and what it's gonna do is it's gonna add two inches of flap width adjustment. So again, with this extension, you're getting two inches of additional coverage on one side. So yes, you will need two of these if you want four inches overall or for both sides to match.
So make sure you're ordering two if you're trying to get a total of four inches of extra width overall on your whole system. Now this is a stainless steel outer sleeve, so it's gonna add strength and it's gonna also be corrosion-resistant. The inner rod inside has a zinc coated steel protection on it. So, and this has been pre-drilled, it should be ready to go for easy installation. Again, this is just the rod only.
