PullRite 5th-wheel hitches require the king pin to remain fixed inside the hitch head. This capture plate bolts onto compatible Lippert and Fabex pin boxes to prevent rotation and allow the hitch to operate correctly.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this PullRite capture plate. Now this capture plate is made for certain Lippert and Fabex fifth wheeled pin boxes, and this is used with PullRite hitches that need the king pin to stay fixed inside of the hitch head. So instead of letting the king pin rotate normally, this plate is going to lock that movement out so your PullRite hitch can move and operate the way that it was designed to. So this is going to fit your Lippert 1621, 1621 HD, and 1716 pin boxes, as well as the Fabex 770 pin boxes.
Insulation is designed to be pretty straightforward because the plate bolts directly onto the pin box without needing fabrication. Once installed, this is going to provide a more permanent solution and it should not require ongoing adjustment. The plate also needs to be fully seated in the correct position, because if it's not installed all the way, it can interfere with the hitch jaws latching properly around the king pin. But again, the main reason why someone would want to pick this up is because their PullRite hitch requires the king pin and hitch head to work together instead of allowing the king pin to rotate independently. Without the correct capture plate, the hitch may not operate the way that it's supposed to.
So it does include everything that you see here. Also included are going to be these shims that are going to allow you to make sure that there's no gaps when you get this installed. So you got all the shims and the hardware, along with instructions, mine's a little worse for wear there, to walk you through that pretty straightforward installation. This does feature a heavy-duty steel construction. It's going to give you, again, that solid fit.
