Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Thule Xscape Crossbars only. Now these are made of aluminum, so they're lightweight, yet durable. They have a black powder coat finish over them. And these particular bars are 70 inches long, and you're gonna get two of them.
Now, I don't have the end caps in them, but I did wanna show you the end. And then if you we inchesre to then install the end cap, you would obviously put that piece in and then you would have a safety bolt that goes in there. And I'm not gonna put that in, just so I can show you the end there. And it does have a built-in, if you can see that gap there, there we go, it does have a built-in anchor point there on the end of those end caps, which is really, really nice. So it's a multifunction end cap.
It has the integrated tie-down and it's very nice and robust. It has a little slide-on metal clip that the threaded bolts would then thread into. And then of course you have your trim pieces here. These are flexible, they're gonna pop right into the groove on the top of the track here. And these are trimmable, meaning you can cut them to length.
In this case, I don't think you'll have to trim 'em at all. But basically, again, you have that nice bar. Very, very nice, very sturdy aluminum. And this, it pairs great because they are shaped to provide strength as well as allow on attachments of most of your Thule accessories. And the upper track is gonna be great for fast installation or removable accessories.
While that lower track on the bottom is gonna be a solid connection to the Thule Xscape Tower. So that's basically what we're looking at today, folks, are replacement or longer, depending on what you have, crossbars for the Thule Xscape Tower system for the bed of your truck up on the sides of the bed rail.
