The indoor and outdoor weather station and remote sensor let you easily monitor the temperature and humidity of 2 separate spaces in and around your home, farm, RV, or camper. This means you can make sure the food in your fridge or freezer won't spoil and your pipes or crops won't freeze during a cold night. The weather station also provides you with digital weather forecasting, so you can be warned of upcoming inclement weather or extreme temperatures ahead of time.
The remote sensor reads the temperature and humidity of an area and wirelessly send it to the colorful, easy-to-read electronic screen on the monitor. The screen then displays the temperature and humidity of both the monitor's location (labeled indoor) and the sensor's location (labeled outdoor), as well as the weather forecast, at the same time. And if there are more than 2 areas that you wish to monitor, you can add up to 2 additional remote sensors (RS-TX - sold separately).
This thermometer also has a built-in clock that shows you the current date and time. And you have the option of setting the alarm in case you want a reminder to check the temperatures or humidity levels.
The thermometer and sensor are easy and quick to setup. A 5V DC power cord is included to charge the monitor's battery. And you can switch between degrees F and degrees C, depending on your preference.
When setting the sensor in place, make sure you choose an area that's not in direct sunlight or vulnerable to the elements. You can either set the sensor down on a table or other flat surface or you can use hardware (not included) and the slot on the back to hang it on a wall.

Hey, there RV and camper enthusiasts. Today we are going to be taking a look at TempMinders Color Display Weather Station. This color display weather station is an awesome gadget to have with you out on the road. It's not only going to display the indoor and outdoor temperatures you can add up to two additional sensors to monitor up to three outdoor locations. So you can, on those brisk mornings, get an idea of what it's going to be like out before you decide to go out and enjoy your morning coffee. Maybe you want to sleep in a little if it's 40 degrees out.
You can also see it's going to be a standard clock. It functions as an alarm clock too. So that's great for in your sleeping quarters. Another thing that's awesome is the weather forecast ability. Now keep in mind, it's not designed to be as accurate as your local news sources, but it does take into account the barometric pressure to give you an idea of what it's going to be like for the coming day.One remote sensor is included and what's cool about this is you can stash it outside and monitor the temperature outside so that you have an idea of indoor and outdoor temperatures at all times.
Like I was mentioning prior, the unit does have the ability for two additional monitors, which are sold here at etrailer.com. And if you pick those up, you can stash those in alternate locations to get an idea of maybe the temperature out in the tent where the kids are sleeping and maybe a compartment on your RV that you have some sensitive items you're monitoring. The place I recommend doing it so that it's kind of out of sight, but still usable is right on top of your tire here in the wheel. Well, it's going to keep it out of sight. You're still going to pick up that ambient temperature, get a good idea of what it's like outside.If you're a little nervous about just leaving it out, you can also put it into a compartment, but I would recommend putting it in a compartment that is not insulated so you're getting a really accurate reading or as close to possible of what it is outside.
I'd also like to point out it does have a nice little notch on here so if you we're looking for a permanent mounting situation, you can hang on a screw. That'd be great if you we're using this at home, maybe you're keeping tabs on the temperature out in the garage or something.A good example of a compartment you might want to put it in is your water compartment. If you want to make sure that things haven't frozen overnight, you can take your unit and just place it in there. Get a good idea in the morning if you're going to be good to go, or if you need to thaw some things out before getting started. Or why not drop one in your fridge to make sure the milk doesn't spoil.Both units are battery operated.
The batteries aren't included. You're going to need two double A's for the sensor and three triple A's for the back of the display. The display unit also comes with an adapter for your shore power. So if you want to plugin that way, that's a great option as well. And I would still recommend keeping the batteries installed because they function as a backup so if the generator goes out overnight, you're still going to have power.Now you'll see some other options from TempMinder here on our website. One thing I like about this one in particular though is it full color display. Some of the other ones are just an LCD display and this just has a nice, attractive look. It's easy to find everything too. Works great! I mounted the outside sensor behind the sheet metal siding so it wouldn't be in direct sunlight and it worked fine.
Works exactly how it’s suppose to work. Temperature in and out is very accurate.

Had a short in my old inlet. This inlet much more water resistant than what I had and what I found in a local shop (which I later returned). I had some questions about the inlet hole diameter and asked a question on etrailer. got a response in the next business day.

I should have read description better and saved the instructions. Both units are battery only and not intuitive to set up w/o instructions. Change a battery in base and lose all your preset info.
appears to just what I need for monitoring in side the horse trailer I do wish there was a way I could tie a string on to the monitoring unit to hang it in the trailer
I actually use the remote in the refrigerator to see the temp without opening the door. Unit has worked just fine.
Very good looking and easy to set up. didn't come with mounting screws. I used Velcro to hold them in place.
Have owned this thermometer for at least five years plus When it quit working. I was so pleased with it that I ordered one that was as close as possible to it. New thermometer works perfectly!
works great. use it with two senders and monitor inside, outside and fridge temp. min and max are excellent for food safety.
From start (ordering) to finish (product received) everything went well.
The TempMinder was received quick and works very will. Just what I was looking for!
It still and has worked great from the I perches it a year a go.
