Features to know about

Built to Beat the Heat Below Deck: 13,500 Btu Cooling Capacity

When the cabin turns stifling, this 13,500 Btu system pulls the temperature back fast and keeps it steady. It’s designed for enclosed spaces where ducted air isn’t an option, giving you steady, reliable cooling even when the sun’s beating down. You’ll notice the difference right away after just a few minutes of runtime.

Holds Up to Salt, Spray, and Season After Season: Marine-Ready Construction

Marine air conditioners have to live hard, and this one’s built for it. The enamel finish, epoxy-coated motor housing, and flexible hoses handle salt exposure, spray, and constant moisture without flinching. It’s a setup made for life on the water, where durability matters as much as cooling power.

Simplifies the Setup: Matched Kit with Air Distribution Box

Figuring out which pieces go together can be half the battle with any climate system. This complete kit takes that out of the equation. The rooftop unit and air distribution box are made to work together through a standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" opening, so everything lines up cleanly from install to first run. It’s a straightforward upgrade that works right out of the box.

Easy Control Right Overhead: Ceiling-Mounted Air Distribution Box

Comfort adjustments are always within reach with the control knobs at ceiling level. You can fine-tune fan speed and cooling right from the unit and aim airflow using adjustable front and rear dampers. The low-profile Euro styling covers old ceiling marks from earlier assemblies, and when filters need cleaning, the pop-out grilles make it simple—just pull, rinse, and snap them back in.

Ready for Cold Mornings Too: Elect-A-Heat Upgrade Option

When temperatures drop, you can add the Elect-A-Heat component (sold separately) to bring gentle warmth into the cabin without cranking up a generator or separate heater. It installs inline with your existing setup for extra comfort on cool mornings or shoulder-season trips without complicating your system.

Video Transcript for Review of Coleman-Mach RV Air Conditioners - MarineMach 13500 Btu AC System Textured White - CM33RR

Hi everybody! Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Coleman-Mach Marine-Mach 13,500 BTU ductless air conditioner system with this textured white cover. Now, one of the biggest headaches with Marine Coleman systems is figuring out which parts are gonna be compatible with each other. This kit is going to solve all that for you. This AC unit and air distribution box are made to work together, so installation's gonna be smoother and nothing's gonna catch you off guard. So, whether you're installing this yourself or having this done at the yard, it's gonna be one less thing to worry about.

Now, this is made for boats with enclosed cabins or wheelhouses where ducted air is not an option. With 13,500 BTUs of cooling power, this is gonna help bring the temperature down fast and it's gonna keep it there. So, no matter if you're staying aboard overnight or you just need to break from the heat, with this AC unit, you're gonna feel the difference right away. Let's talk measurements. Looking at the unit itself, the overall length from end to end, about 38 inches long.

The overall width is about 26 inches wide and this is considered a mid profile air conditioner. So, the height is gonna be right about 13 and a half inches tall. This is going to fit over an opening size on the roof of 14 and a quarter inches by 14 and a quarter inches. And this is a durable construction. Again, this is a white plastic cover.

It's not like hard or brittle, so I don't think this is going to crack easily at all, but it feels very durable. You can probably hear that texture there. So, I think it's gonna hold up really well, do a great job of protecting the internal components from water and dirt and debris and things like that. Underneath the, especially the frame, we have a a real durable construction with a baked enamel finish. The fan motor is epoxy coated and the hoses are flexible.

So, this is built and designed to resist salt, spray and seasonal exposure. Taking a look at the other side of my table here, a little bit more close up, this air distribution box is going to give you full control right at the ceiling level. With the simple knobs here, you're gonna be able to reach, reach those controls very easily, so you're not gonna have to worry about a thermostat or remote or anything like that. And then we do have dampeners up at the top and the bottom here, so you're gonna be able to direct that air how you want it. And then also we do have air filters here on either side. They're just gonna pop out. You'll wash those filters out and then be able to replace them once those filters are dry. So, you're not going to have to worry about air restriction or anything like that. Those filters are gonna be very easy to clean. So, we have our fan speed knob here and our temperature knob here. It includes this hardware that you see here as well, along with the bolts to get the AC installed. And then just to give you some measurements of the box itself, looking at the overall width, we're sitting at about 20 and three quarters inches wide. The overall length is about 21 and three quarters inches long. And then this is probably gonna stick out about two and a half, two to two and a half inches from your ceiling when you have it installed in the ceiling. So, it's not gonna be taking up a whole lot of headroom at all. Now, I do wanna let you know that this is not going to be backwards compatible with any air conditioner system from 2024 and earlier due to the new R32 refrigerant that this system uses. And that R32 refrigerant does meet the 2025 EPA regulations. So, that's why this kit is great. Everything is designed to work together, but if you happen to have any other components currently that are from 2024 and earlier, they're not going to be compliant with that R32 refrigerant, then those components will not be compatible with this system, just so you're aware of that. Now, if you happen to have any other additional questions that I didn't cover for you during our time together, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. Ultimately, we do want to be sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
