Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today, we're looking at our very own etrailer lock set. Now this is for a two and a two and a half inch hitch receiver lock pin, and it fits a two and five-16th inch surround coupler with a flat bottom lip. So you can see that groove in there, it must have a flat bottom lip. And there's some other measurements and stuff that you need to be aware of, I'll put them up on the screen for you. To unlock, you simply insert the keys that are key to lock to the pin, turn it.
As you can see, that pin is gonna be able to drop up or down whenever you slide your coupler in with this over the coupler rather. You then wanna push this up in place, turn the key 90 degrees, lock it, and that one's ready to go. And as far as the hitch pin lock, you simply put the key in and this kind of acts like a screwdriver, if you will. You just simply unthread it and that's gonna come undone. And then when you put it back in, you want to thread it the opposite way until it won't go.
And then just give it a gentle wiggle. Put your dust cover back on and you are good to go. So I love the dust cover that we've added, that keeps the moisture, the dirt, debris out. And then these are chrome with a silver powder coating on top as well. So that's gonna give you that nice longevity, that resistant to rust, corrosion.
It's all made here in the US. And on top of that, you get a nice hard, plastic case and everything is molded perfectly to fit your locks, your keys, and of course, that coupler lock. And as you can see, we've even got another space here. As you can tell, we offer another kit sold separately. If you have that trigger-style coupler on top, you can also get that quarter-inch lock sold separately or get a kit that includes it, sold separately, to have that as well.
And then you simply can toss this behind a seat, maybe under a seat in the truck or something, or in a toolbox, a compartment, wherever. Nice, easy storage, everything in one place. And again, everything's key to like, so less keys to worry about, simpler to lock everything up whenever you're using it or when you're storing it.
