I’ve had my bitch for a year now, shipping was quick. The install on my Infiniti fx35 was simple and straight forward, instructions were very helpful and was supplied with the proper hardware to get the job done. 10 of 10 would buy from etrailer again.
I was pleasantly surprised by how solidly build this hitch is. Not only is the craftsmanship outstanding, but the finish is very nice and should resist rusting for a very long time. Installation is a little tricky for a novice like me, but with some persistence I was able to get it done.

2003 Infinity FX35 Installation - Very difficult…
Drilling holes is difficult. You have to block the bumper skirt out of the way.
Inside the aluminum bumper there's a "lug" that you have to get over. The fishing tool is needed but it's not enough to get over the lug. I had to make a jig to hold the bolt & washer together to push it over the lug. Then with the fishing tool I was able to pull the bolt into the drilled hole.
Inner bolts...
- 1st bolt - 4 hours (once I figured I needed and made a "jig")
- 2nd bolt - 5 minutes (with jig).
- 2 outer bolts by hand. Cake...

Can you tell us your level of technical savvy? Just trying to gauge the level of difficulty since the folks that install them and rate the time are very proficient with the installations, vs us regular folks that dont do this for a living. Thanks
The trailer hitch is well made and works great. Installation is not for the faint of heart as the difficulty level is for a more advanced handy and patient person or professional. The installation video does not go in to the full details of the challenges of working in such a tight space, but the kit is complete and of good quality. It took about 4 hours to install and you have to take care in removing your cars panel clips to remove the needed panels. A floor jack is needed if working alone, otherwise some help is required.
