With a 3,500 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 350 lbs tongue weight, this Class III hitch is ready for light to moderate towing. It’s ideal for hauling small campers, boats, or utility trailers and works great for bike racks or cargo carriers. The 2" x 2" receiver opening lets you attach the most common accessories without extra adapters, keeping your setup simple and solid.
The sturdy, square-tube design is fully welded for strength and stability. Precision, robotic welding ensures a consistent fit that holds up over time. A gloss black powder coat finish over a protective base coat resists rust and corrosion, so it stays looking sharp while handling tough conditions year after year.
No welding or special tools needed—this hitch bolts directly onto the frame using factory mounting points. The included hardware kit and installation instructions make setup straightforward whether you're in a driveway or garage. It’s a custom-fit design that lines up cleanly for an easy DIY install and a professional-looking finish.
The concealed cross tube keeps most of the hitch hidden behind the bumper, so only the receiver is visible. You get the towing strength you need without adding bulk or clutter to the back of your vehicle. It’s a clean, tucked-away look that blends in nicely while staying ready for whatever you want to haul next.

GREAT COMPANY
It could not have been any easier of a process!!
Perfect fit and installation was easy, with clear instructional videos. Purchased 1 year ago and have had zero problems—would highly recommend this product, and etrailer.com!
Not the best hitch design
Even with the tether for the hitch mounted bike rack as tight as possible the hitch itself has alot of flex and bounces alot.
Not the best design
The over all quality of shipment and hitch was good. I do not recommend trying to install without a powered ratchet be it air or Electric. I was able to install the rear bolts with a hand ratchet and a lot of upward force. The problem was the front bolts cannot be started straight on with a standard wrench due to the hitch frame being in the way. Also, the nylon lock bushings are in front of the bolt threads instead of past them. A very poor design on Hyundi's part. I had to pry upward with pry bar on an air ratchet to get it started into the nylon lock bushing. If you don't have the right tools, pay a mechanic to do it.
After reviewing the installation instructions and videos you provided on the internet for the wiring harness and hitch for my 2010 Hyundai Veracruz I felt I could tackle the installation. I'm 80 and it has been a while since I have done something like this. Your instructions were right on and like following a cookbook. The Curt 13545 model met my requirements. I did drop the spare to give me more room since I was not using a lift. Using the spare as a pivot point I was able to attach one side of the hitch and then using blocks I moved the other side into place with out having to lift and hold the assembly. I didn't have to remove the exhaust completely, just slipped the rubber mounts free and was able to get to all the heat shield bolts without much contortions. The wiring harness just snapped into the sockets on the Veracruz and routing was as you described. The electrical checkout was just as described. While it took me about 5 hours by myself, everything was doable. The hitch, Harness, Ball Mount assembly and Ball could not have been better. No photos, crawling around on the garage floor kept me busy.
Fantastic hitch, parts, instructions! Thank you!
Perfect product. Great instructions online. Make sure you install wiring harness before installing hitch.
The hitch fits perfectly. Took about 2 hours to install. No issues with the product itself. All my troubles came from the car. Couple of helpful hints: use a floor jack to lift the hitch and you can do the job by yourself. Also, use a wire brush to clean the attachment points and spray some lubrication in it. It’ll make installing the bolts a whole lot easier. Lastly, have a long 12” or longer extension available and you won’t have to squeeze your hand into little spaces.
